Unfortunately my experience has been the following:
- Company does not promote independence.
- Company wants to constantly make decisions for service users on what they can or not do i.e. having a shower can be dangerous so therefore the staff can't do it but you're not medically trained to make the
decision. Listen to the service user and their requirements.
- Staff constantly want to run out of the door and not wanting to give the allocated 30 mins sometimes only 15mins or less.
- Company takes no liability for damage conducted in service user's property by staff.
- Management are rude, confrontational and make no attempt to listen to the service user.
- You are not contacted back when you leave a message for a team leader to call you. Or either they say they will call you but don't.
I did make a good rapport with some carers who were genuinely caring and wanted to help. The company really need to promote independence especially for younger service users.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We value your feedback, it helps us improve our services. We understand the importance of promoting independence for service users, especially younger individuals, and apologise if decisions were made without proper consultation. We review our processes to ensure better focus on their preferences and needs. Regarding care time we regret any instances where it wasn't fully used, and we reinforce adherence to allocated time. Concerning property damage, we take it seriously and will ensure staff are trained to handle property carefully. We also reviewed the key safe incident, which involved other professionals. We apologise if you felt management was unresponsive. We provide further training to improve communication. We also aim for prompt responses to messages and have additional communication methods like WhatsApp. We appreciate your kind words about our carers and are committed to continuous improvement. Please reach out with any further concerns.

My dad has been receiving the care visits on 4 occasions per day for 3 months. They always arrive with smiles on their faces and engage well from the moment they arrive to the time they leave, and this is not only with my dad but myself also.
They are well experienced in their role and always provide
great advice to assist in ensuring my dad is comfortable and always provide me with an update on changes to assist with regular reviews by the nurses.
They are also very keen to go above and beyond and never hesitate with any requests from me or my dad, even when they have had a busy and stressful shift.
I would highly recommend the support that is provided by Trust in Care.

My mother is bed-bound and currently receiving 4 visits per day towards her end-of-life mixed dementia care.
The carers who come to my home and provide this care are the most amazing people. I could not manage without them. They treat my mother with the utmost care and respect.

I'm a friend of a client who uses this care service, She is disabled. I regularly visit my friend at her house. The service she gets is mind-blowing. 2 carers who come and care for my friend are very kind and friendly. Both of the carers take their time to do everything in detail, for example, her medication,
food, cleaning, changing bedding, personal care, communication, etc.
Couldn't recommend enough. I would give more than 5 stars if there was more.

The care my mum received from the girls at Trust-In-Care was exceptional.
The care and compassion they showed in my mum's final weeks were really lovely.
They were careful and were really gentle with my mum and took the time to ask how I was as well.
A lovely team who should be proud of the way they
carried out their visits.

Their customer service is second to none.
The care and quality are consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I would like to thank one lady in particular for always explaining

Very very poor. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn’t let me give anything lower. I could go on and on about this care provider. Not good on any level. Forget to give medication, go without giving the main mid-day meal. On two other occasions wouldn’t have had a main meal. Didn’t have to prep them
already done for them. Left dirty cups with clean cups and didn’t put them away just left them. Didn’t strip a dirty bed in the morning, soiled bottom sheet where my mum had been changed. Three pillows were very dirty and the duvet was filthy. Instead just striping in seconds and putting it in the laundrette. Then the one carer when I questioned about her calling my mother a fussy woman, she said, well she wanted her hearing aids. Then she told me to put the hairbrush away off the kitchen table. Then she dropped some of her tablets down the front of her. I said if she could get up and walk at all she would. That’s your job if I am not mistaken. You can see she is 94 years old and a severely disabled lady.

We are deeply sorry you feel this way and you feel you have had a negative experience of our service. We have spoken with you regarding concerns about your mother’s care and took the appropriate measures to investigate your concerns, including sending management out to observe the carers at your mother’s property to ensure they are providing the quality care we expect of our care assistants. The records that our staff write following visits with your mother conflict with your experience, and we have since tried to contact you on multiple occasions to discuss matters further. At Trust In Care, we strive to provide an outstanding quality of care and improve our service user's experience wherever possible, and we are very sorry that you feel the experience did not meet your expectations.
We are happy to discuss things further with you if you wish.

All the best,
Trust In Care

Current Review Score: 8.7 (8.730)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.7 (8.730) out of 10 for Trust In Care is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 8 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.130 for Trust In Care is calculated as follows: ( (34 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) + (8 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 46 Ratings = 4.13

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Trust In Care is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 = 4.6

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
