Bluebird Care has been coming to my Dad's home on a weekly basis for about 12 months. All staff members who have attended to Dad have done so with patience and sensitivity to his needs and sometimes challenging situations. They have been careful in following his personal boundaries and have always contacted
me with any concerns and followed protocol when unable to reach me.
Staff have all been friendly and approachable and I have confidence in their ability to provide a high standard of care.

Very grateful to have a care company that I know looks after my mum without our family having to worry. The managers and carers go above and beyond what is expected. My mum is treated with dignity and love. The managers have also supported us as a family too.

All the carers who Mom has had have been very helpful and professional. Very friendly and treat mom with dignity. Whenever we call at short notice for extra hours we are always accommodated, which is very much appreciated.
Mom was very reluctant to have carers to begin with but they have proved to
be a service we couldn't manage without and have removed a great deal of anxiety for me, her daughter and her immediate family.
Would definitely recommend Bluebird even though a little more expensive than other providers.

The care company is very professional and caring. We have used this company just over a month for my mother who has dementia.
Nothing is not too much trouble and has put extra things in place to help my parents.
All of the staff are friendly and will go the extra mile to make things easier for my
mom. They are very reliable and always on the end of the phone for any questions and advice.

The carers from Bluebird were fantastic from the offset when caring for my elderly father, and looked after him for over fourteen months. Each carer and the management were wonderful, kind and patient with him as he had to learn to accept their help, and they learned to anticipate his needs. The care
was excellent from day one, making sure Dad was clean, had what he wanted and needed, and also offering him emotional support and friendly company. They would take the time to chat with him, get to know him, and always asked if there was anything more they could do for him. Bluebird started caring for my dad in September 2022 when he was discharged from hospital for palliative care. Based on how he presented at the time, we did not think he would be with us for more than a few months, but thanks to the care he received we had longer with him and managed to keep him at home, as per his wishes. In his final days every member of staff was exceptional and supportive. We can't thank them enough.

We have been using Bluebird Care for nearly a year and are delighted with the care they provide.
Always reliable and very flexible, which we have found invaluable as Dad's care needs continue to change.
It is extremely well managed, and there is always someone available to speak to at any time, day
or night.
We particularly like their app, which provides customer plans, schedules and notes after every care call, keeping us fully informed.
Dad prefers familiarity, and the team works hard to provide regular carers. They listen to what we want and what Dad needs, and they endeavour to accommodate.
The team are reliable and caring, and we trust them. They always deliver.
We know Dad is cared for by an exceptional team, including his day-to-day carers and also the back office staff. It is comforting to know that when we cannot be there, Dad is having the best care and attention.
We highly recommend Bluebird Care; they work with us and have become part of our family and enable Dad to remain safe and happy at home.

Bluebird are a highly organised and professional team who are a credit to their profession. My mum was treated with the utmost respect and care over the 2 years she was looked after. These lovely ladies became an extended part of our family and genuinely 'cared' for my mum even through the most difficult
of times, going above and beyond on countless occasions. Timings were adjusted to suit Mum's ever-demanding needs with meetings even taking place in hospital with family when Mum was admitted to review her healthcare and ensure everything was in place for her discharge. This care continued during Mum's hospitalisation with this dedicated team visiting when the family was unable to, keeping Mum's spirits up and giving our family much-needed comfort during difficult times. I can't recommend this company highly enough, they truly put the 'care' into carers.

The team at Bluebird are amazing (very personable, caring, professional and experienced). At the beginning of June, I did not know where or how to get help. Living outside the area, I needed to find a company I could trust. The team has provided much-needed support for my relatives, particularly around
hospital appointments, organising home appointments /medication and helping with shopping. The things I value most from the team are: 1) The great warmth that they show my relatives and me. 2) Total trust; nothing is too much trouble, the phone is answered day and night and I know that the team will always be there and on time. 3) The team's experience and advice; I would be lost without it. 4) How they look after their team: career progression, support and good working environment. One of the key factors why I initially engaged them. Excellent service and good value for money. Highly recommended. Thank you, team.

Very happy with the care that my mother receives. We did have another care agency but things didn't go well. Coming to Bluebird Care, everything has improved and my mum treats them like family and she is happy.

From the offset, the manager has been ever so wonderful and helpful, and all the care staff have been always trying extremely patient and kind with my grandfather, giving him outstanding care and being friendly with him. They always leave him comfortable, ensuring he has everything he needs and always
ask if there's anything else he would like them to do. They leave the house clean and tidy. It's such a relief and so reassuring to have such wonderful carers looking after my grandfather, especially as he is so reliant on them; they have all made an effort to build a relationship with him, so they do his personal care. All the staff are so helpful; they are all fantastic with him and a great support and comfort to the family.

Jatinder & Kiran Sahota

Job Title: Owners & Directors

Jatinder Sahota and Kiran Sahota are the owners and directors of Bluebird Care Sandwell.


After qualifying as a Pharmacist Jatinder spent five years working in the community gaining experience in helping elderly and vulnerable customers. Kiran completed a degree in Economics and worked for a leading bank as a trainer and customer services manager. They wanted to put their gained experience, knowledge and skillsets to use by doing something that would positively impact others’ lives and decided to join the Bluebird Care network and open Bluebird Care Sandwell.


It is important to Jatinder and Kiran that the homecare services that Bluebird Care Sandwell deliver are consistently delivered to a high standard. “Good old-fashioned service” is not just a tagline, we mean it!


Kayleigh

Kayleigh Martin

Job Title: Registered Manager

Joined: 2019

Kayleigh is our CQC registered care manager and is responsible for the wellbeing of our customers and staff team. She joined us as a care assistant in 2019 with a passion to care and a love for all things 50’s related. Within a short space of time she was promoted to care supervisor and in 2021 took another step up into the role of Care Coordinator. In September 2022 Kayleigh accepted her current position as registered manager and has since made a positive impact to the services we provide and is an asset to our organisation.

Nicole Arnold

Job Title: Care Co-ordinator

Joined: 2021

Nicole is usually the first face you will meet as she is responsible for completing all new customer assessments and ongoing reviews. Nicole loves being out in the field meeting our wonderful customers and collecting invaluable feedback.


Nicole joined our team as a care assistant in 2021. She was new to care but impressed us with her naturally caring nature and ability to learn quickly. She was soon promoted to supervisor and then care coordinator where she continues to go above and beyond for our customers and staff team.

Zoe Martin

Job Title: Training & Recruitment Administrator

Joined: 2021

Zoe is usually the first voice you will hear when you call our office. She is responsible for onboarding new carers and dealing with all general customer queries.


She started with Bluebird Care Sandwell in 2021 as a part-time administration apprentice while studying at college.


Zoe impressed us with her eagerness to learn and take on more responsibilities. She enjoyed her role so much that she left college and came to work with us full-time as a training and recruitment administrator.


Amanda

Amanda Waite

Job Title: Field Care Supervisor

Amanda is one of our friendly field care supervisors. She is talkative and bubbly and nothing is ever too much trouble for her. You will find Amanda visiting our customers regularly to complete competency spot checks on carers and reviewing care plans to ensure they continue to meet our customer’s needs.

Fozia Fiaz

Job Title: Field Care Supervisor
