Mum and I are very happy with the service provided by Home Instead. A carer comes in once a day to assist Mum to wash and dress. In addition, they encourage and support her in performing exercises given by an NHS physio to aid her recovery from a nasty fall. Everyone from the office staff to carers
have been professional, kind, empathetic and helpful in trying to meet our requirements. The carers have all been punctual, and thorough with lovely personalities that provide a little ray of sunshine in the morning. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in my Mum's care.

The manager along with both live-in carers arranged to allow my friend to be at home which was his wish.
Unfortunately, he ultimately had to go to a local home but he enjoyed being home and it was only possible due to the manager's dedication to her job.

We have used Home Instead Newbury for over 16 months and have been delighted with the care and companionship provided.
Everyone works as a team:- the owners, the office staff and the carers.
The four carers we come into contact with are excellent.

Very pleased with the care my mother has received from the very friendly carers. Very friendly manager who has kept us informed every step of the way. Mum is happy with the carers and is well looked after with all her needs met.

Fantastic service from a consistent, really committed, highly skilled care team. Kind, compassionate, thoughtful, effective and efficient. Highly recommend. They go above and beyond!! This review covers the period from mid-Jan 2023 (when the service started) to present (Jan 31, 2024). During that time I was staying at the property where the service was provided from service commencement to end Feb 2023. Thereafter I returned home overseas and, whilst I am aware of what is happening,
I am not involved day to day. Anyone reading this review should view it in that context.
Over the time I was staying with my parents the care was exemplary, and I believe it has continued in the same vein. Home Instead (HI) was able to provide some care very quickly after it became clear it was required, and to increase it to the ongoing required level quickly thereafter. All the carers have shown considerable empathy and compassion for my parents (despite my father not being the easiest person to deal with), and have shown a lot of patience.
We were in a crisis in Jan 2023, and HI have helped get through that and then helped keep everything 'on an even keel' thereafter.

The carer provided by Home Instead for my dad is excellent. They are kind, consistent and reliable. The office personnel are efficient and timesheets and invoices have always been correct.
They provide regular reviews to ensure my dad’s needs are being met.
Our carer provides companionship, serves
lunch and does some housework.
They are able to provide the same carer for each visit which is really important to us.
I would highly recommend them and have already recommended them to friends.
