The carers are delightful and all do their best to help me live comfortably. The older ones are generally more thoughtful as they have had longer life experience and are nearer my age. My family sometimes happen to arrive while they are here and can pick up any queries and deal with them.

We have had two lovely carers for Mum who take the time to do nice things with her in the house. We once had a carer who was not suitable and just talked about herself the whole time, the focus should always be on the client.
Numerous mistakes have been made by the office. I feel organization is lacking
but we are happy with the carers.

I have nothing but praise for the carers who visit us. However, the administration has left something to be desired.

Mum receives excellent care from all the staff at Helping Hands Truro.
They are kind, helpful, considerate and efficient and many carers have built up a rapport with Mum which helps to meet her individual needs. At 95 years old there is no way Mum could manage to live an independent life in her own
home without their care.

Our experience with Helping Hands Home Care (Truro) has been fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend them. Every one of the carers we have met has been cheerful, professional, courteous and extremely helpful, often going above and beyond, when unexpected issues have arisen. The communication from
the carers themselves and the office staff is brilliant. They have been extremely flexible and it has given us peace of mind knowing there are regular visits from a team of exceptional people that Mum has come to trust and rely on.

I am a ninety year old widow, living alone. I had sustained serious injuries in a bad fall and as I was recovering, I needed help with personal care, showering and hair washing. The flexible package offered by Helping Hands Home Care (Truro) has been most appropriate and ideal for me, the management
being so amenable and understanding of my needs. The professional standard of all the care staff too has been exemplary, as has been their cheerful, friendly and competent manner. I feel that I have benefited from their visits and welcome their company.

Helping Hands Home Care (Truro) have been invaluable to my very elderly mum and has taken a lot of pressure off me. I have been experiencing health issues and was finding it difficult to continue providing the level of care and support my mother was receiving from me before. If there is any problem
with mum when they visit each day, someone will contact me and between us we can always sort it out. The carers are lovely and my mother enjoys their visits.

The carers recently have been excellent. They are cheerful, friendly, helpful and reliable. They treat dad with dignity and he enjoys having a chat with them whilst they are with him.
My contact with a member of staff in the office, by email or by phone, has always been very good and any queries have
been efficiently and professionally dealt with.

Helping Hands have been helping my mum for the past year, with calls increasing over that time as necessary. All the staff, carers, and office staff have always been caring, helpful, and understanding during difficult times with Mum being admitted to hospital and falling more. They have been flexible
and have accommodated us as much as possible and both Mum and I would have been lost without them. I would highly recommend them.

Hi, I'm Lindsey, and I am the newly appointed Branch Manager in Truro.

I knew this was the right career path for me when I was a teenager - I helped to care for my Grandmother who had Dementia and I decided I wanted to make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families.
I left the Adult Care sector for a few years and worked with children who had learning difficulties, I left this job when I moved to Cornwall and decided that care was where I was meant to be.

I have worked as a Carer, a Care-Coordinator and in Administrative roles in the past and I really enjoyed all roles, however, I have always aimed to be a Registered Manager - so really excited with this new challenge.
I have completed qualifications in Leadership and Management and I am currently working towards a Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care.

I chose to work here at Helping Hands because I could see by looking on the websites and social media that it was a company who really cared - not only about their customers but also the staff - and I was right! They have a great reputation and share the same values and beliefs as I do.

I am looking forward to working with the team to expand the branch and take our Good CQC rating to Outstanding!

I am really enjoying building relationships with the team - we all share the same enthusiasm to provide high-quality services to our customers and their families, whilst working in a really positive environment.
