SureCare Central Cheshire is a provider of home care services in Cheshire, mainly covering the areas of Nantwich, Audlem, Sandbach, Alsager and surrounding villages.

The care provided ranges from complex care to checking that people have washed, eaten, taken medications and that all important company and conversation.

Home care services include assistance with getting up / going to bed, toileting and continence care, medication support, meal preparation and nutritional needs monitoring. They also provide companionship and assisting people to participate in hobbies, local activities and attending appointments as well as help around the home; laundry, shopping, housekeeping, running errands which all enable people of all ages, particularly older people, to live independently within their own homes.

For those who require additional support they provide night care. Sleeping nights gives reassurance, particularly for those living alone, that someone is there if needed. Waking nights supports those requiring care throughout the night. SureCare also provides respite & holiday care, sometimes at short notice for those emergency situations.

For those who require more assistance than can be provided by home care visits SureCare can arrange live-in care. This is where a carer moves into your home to support you. This gives company as well as care and carers can help you to do the activities you enjoy, including days out and is an affordable alternative to going into a care home.

I have found SureCare a fantastic company in their commitment to the clients. The carers are excellent, very cheerful and most importantly they listen to the clients requests, and match the care givers to the needs of their patients. I would not hesitate in recommending SureCare to anyone who needs
I:I care. They are an amazing company and the only reason we are terminating the contact with them, is that we are leaving the area.

I am so pleased I decided to use Surecare for my parents, it all came to be last August when my mum was discharged from hospital after being an inpatient for 3 weeks with pneumonia. She needed a bit extra care to start with, I rang up and asked for help with some care and they had it sorted immediately
and started within about 4 days. They now come every night and stay over. Lovely girls and Mum and Dad think the world of them, they will do anything they want, help them get ready for bed and stay over night in case they are needed in the night and they are there to help them get dressed in a morning and get breakfast, they couldn't manage without them it is the same two girls that do the nights between them do there is continuity. If anyone is looking for any care I fully recommend Surecare for their efficiency and professionalism!

I regularly travel all over the country for work and being physically disabled, I have to arrange care in hotels everywhere I go. I'm so glad I found SureCare. The service has been excellent, the carers are friendly and reliable which is critical for my work. They are always able to provide care when

Following a poor experience with a previous care provider I reached out to SureCare in June 2024 to help ensure that my parents be able to return home safely after respite care. SureCare responded quickly and efficiently to draw up care plans to facilitate the move home. The carers all show patience,
empathy and professionalism in their support of Mum and Dad. As their needs have increased SureCare have ensured the necessary support has been forthcoming. SureCare have helped in emergency situations and kept me updated of any concerns. The office staff respond quickly to phone calls and emails. A professional team with a very personal approach.

I got in touch with SureCare in early September when it was clear my father was in need of much more help to manage the effects of his cancer. We received a very helpful response to our initial contact, which was followed by a friendly visit to assess Dad's needs. We then heard back very promptly with
some options and we took the option of having 2 carers living in to provide 24/7 care. They were both very well trained and personable, quickly forming a connection with Dad and us, also working well with the district nurse and community care team. The last 10 days of my father's life would have been unimaginably more difficult without these 2 carers. Instead, my family and I were able to spend time with him in ways that really counted. My thanks to everyone at SureCare for making this possible.

This was a last-minute decision to have care for my mother whilst we were away, and something that we would definitely look to repeat in the future. Mum enjoyed the visits and

I can thoroughly recommend SureCare, they have been brilliant. My mum had been in a nursing home for two years but really wanted to come home. They helped us make this possible and the care she got was exceptional. Thanks to SureCare she spent the last few months of her life where she wanted to be.
All the carers were lovely and helped us as a family at the end.

SureCare are amazing. From the very start to the end of my husband’s care with SureCare, the staff went above and beyond. Not only did they help with my husband's needs, they helped with all aspects of general day-to-day jobs. They would help with housework, ironing, helped me to still be able to be
a mum to my children as well as care for my husband. One of the staff even cooked us an evening meal. SureCare became part of our family through the time they spent caring for my husband. I couldn’t have looked after my husband at home without their help. I’ll always remember the SureCare team and have plenty of fond memories with the time we all spent together even though it was the most difficult time for myself and my family. Thank you SureCare.

SureCare provides a great care package, the staff are understanding of our needs and go above and beyond. They keep us well informed at all times, and we as a family get great peace of mind knowing they are going into the home every day. We originally had fewer visits but after a hospital stay and and
new assessment we increased the visits and SureCare were a great help in getting this set up.

Sarah

Sarah Castelow

Job Title: Care Manager

Joined: 2020

Sarah initially joined SureCare as a care assistant and very quickly built great relationships with our clients and other team members.

Sarah demonstrated superb care skills and was soon making lots of suggestions on how to improve the care provided for our clients, getting to know them and their conditions. Sarah frequently goes above and beyond to bring smiles to our client's faces and has an incredible eye for detail. Sarah enjoys learning more about the varying conditions clients have and finding different ways to support them, following new developments and breakthroughs in care and support.

Sarah has grown as an individual and shown great strength in the way she manages relationships with compassion and has been promoted a number of times, firstly as a Senior Carer in December 2021, then to a Team Leader role and in 2024 was promoted as our Care Manager. We are very proud to support her ongoing career in care.

In her spare time Sarah likes to spend time with family and friends, regularly visiting her grandparents in Newcastle providing support for them. Sarah enjoyed all aspects of renovating her house from striping walls back to brick to painting and designing the house.

Jessica Butroid

Job Title: Care Co-ordinator

Joined: 2021

Jessica gained a lot of care experience in her previous career as a support worker for people with mental health conditions. During this time Jess developed a number of additional skills such as managing teams of staff and creating rotas.

When looking to change careers Jessica applied for the position of Care Coordinator and used her previous skills to very quickly learn the scheduling system and plan the rotas for the growing team of care assistants. Jessica has a great rapport with all team members, especially those who are new to care to help them settle into the team and enjoy learning their new roles. 

Jessica also spends time on the rota covering calls when needed and is superb with clients, showing empathy and looking at how the care can be improved for each and every client to ensure that they receive the highest levels of care.

Ashleigh initially joined SureCare as a care assistant and shared a lot of her knowledge and experience of having previously worked in care. Kerry initially joined SureCare as a care assistant and demonstrated the high-quality care we look for in our team, questioning why and how we did things and looking to make improvements. This resulted in Kerry taking a step up to a senior carer when the position became available.

To expand her skill set and progress further in her role within the company Kerry wants to complete her NVQs in Health and Social Care as well as her continual personal development with other relevant training to support clients. Kerry wants to specialise in dementia and become the leader within the team to not only support those living with the condition but also provide support to team members so that their knowledge increases, sharing tips and hints along the way.

Rebecca Williams

Rebecca, known as Becky, has worked in a number of nursing care settings, gaining both clinical skills and a wealth of experience. Becky has also worked on a one-to-one basis with clients with complex needs, which can often be very challenging and require a great deal of knowledge. Becky enjoys learning and expanding her knowledge in care and has shared her knowledge with us, implementing different methods of working since joining us as a senior carer.

Tina established SureCare Central Cheshire with her business partner Kirstie after they met whilst working at their local authority in Cheshire. Tina spent 13 years working in local government supporting local communities. Prior to this Tina had a long career working in the tourism industry managing a busy restaurant, café, gift shop and small zoo. The customer care skills developed in her early career combined with the time spent working with local communities have transferred well into the care industry. Tina and Kirstie are both keen to enable people to remain a part of or reconnect with, their local community.

The ladies had two objectives when setting up the business; wanting to provide outstanding care for their clients and creating a company that people are proud to work for. Their first Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating was Good overall and Outstanding in Caring, which showed that they are certainly meeting their first objective and 5-star reviews on Facebook, Google and Indeed show they are meeting their second objective. During the CQC inspection, a number of clients were spoken to and some said: "We have regular carers and they arrive on time"; "They stay for the allotted time and have never missed a call" and "The company choose their carers well, and choosing the right carers allows continuity which keeps Mum safe."
Both ladies also deliver care and enjoy their time on the rota building relationships and seeing exactly what is needed for their clients from a carer's perspective.
In her spare time, Tina enjoys hiking, scouting with her role as chair of a local scout group, learning Spanish and when time allows getting lost in a good book – preferably whilst on a beach!

Kirstie established SureCare Central Cheshire with her business partner Tina after they met whilst working at their local authority in Cheshire.

Kirstie spent almost 30 years working in local government in a variety of roles, starting in benefits and finally managing a wide range of community services. She used this experience, along with her qualifications in Community Development, Leadership and Management to be able to take on the role of Registered Manager so that the ladies could operate immediately and provide much-needed care around the rural areas of Nantwich.

Since establishing the company, only 1 year before the global pandemic, a lot has been learned. The pandemic has challenged everyone, not least of all those receiving care as well as those providing care. Reassurance and support were required throughout and following the ethos of the company it was ensured that all clients received their calls and for the full call length during very difficult times.

Both ladies also deliver care and enjoy their time on the rota building relationships and seeing exactly what is needed for their clients from a carer's perspective.

In her spare time, Kirstie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, going on long walks with her dog and tending her horses and chickens.
