I’ve been in the care industry since I was 17. I always wanted to be a nurse so believed that getting experience in care was my first step. I joined New Directions at the beginning of 2023 as a care assistant while I was finishing my degree. While being a care assistant I progressed into becoming a Field Care Supervisor. Being a field care supervisor was such a rewarding role. It allowed me to meet our service users gain knowledge of their wants and needs and be able to help them live their lives as best as they can.
Gaining this experience as a field care supervisor I progressed up to a Care Coordinator, where I am able to have a bigger input into delivering the best service to our service users. I’m very passionate about my role and proud to be a part of the team that delivers such a great service.
