The Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland office was established in 2019 by James and Stefania Beech, bringing quality home care built on a forty-year legacy to the Stamford area. In 2024, James passed the torch to fellow Radfield Home Care partner, Sona Bharkhada, who also runs the Leicester East, Groby & Oadby office.
Sona says: “It is especially rewarding knowing that my home care service is making a difference in the community and helping people live the best lives they can.”
Today, Radfield Home Care Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland, provides expert care services that can support individuals affected by medical conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, cancer, and respiratory failure. Our team can also help people get out and about with companionship care and trips into the community.

Rose is our Field Care Supervisor and a hugely important part of our care 'family'. She acts as a mentor to the care team and upholds the highest possible standards.
Rose is a model Care Professional who loves her job. She is motivated by helping others and gains huge personal satisfaction from supporting the wellbeing of her clients and her colleagues. She has recently reached retirement age but continues to set an example to all around her with her enormous energy and enthusiasm.
Rose was recognised for her outstanding work by winning 'Employee of the Year' in the 2021 Mercury Business Awards. As Councillor Kelham Cooke, award sponsor and leader of South Kesteven District Council handed over the trophy, he commented that Rose had stood out for her many acts of kindness and the way in which she constantly went the extra mile for both her clients and her colleagues.
Rose says:
"I had always felt strongly about how important the care profession is, having personal experience of caring for members of my family. My Mum said ‘promise me you will follow your heart and work in care because you will make a great carer for somebody’. I knew this career path would make us both happy, and it has!"

We want to introduce you to Yvonne, registered care manager for Radfield Home Care Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland. Yvonne is responsible for the day-to-day running of the office in line with CQC regulations and also for ensuring that the service is safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led. Yvonne is the key point of contact for carers, clients and their families and promotes individual wellbeing at all times.
Yvonne has an extensive background in care, spanning over 25 years. She has worked in a variety of roles in the sector, ranging from a field-based Care Professional to a registered care manager. This variety of experience really makes Yvonne ideal for the role, she has a deep understanding of the challenges facing the industry for both clients and staff.
“I have worked in Adult Social Care in a management role since April 2001 but have previously worked as a Care Professional for 5 years in a residential home. I really love being able to make a difference in people’s lives and being able to share my knowledge and experience with other Care Professionals too.”
Yvonne is a naturally caring person and strives to make a real positive difference in the lives of vulnerable people. She understands that to provide the best possible service to clients, everyone must work as a team, being supportive of all those around you to create a healthy working environment.
“Giving something back and making a difference in what can be a sad and lonely day for an individual is so important, our elder generation has given so much and helped shape the world we live in today, making them feel worthwhile and valued is so important.
