Caring Folk cared for my mum for a while and did an amazing job. All the staff went above and beyond for her and always had smiles on their faces to cheer my mum up. I would recommend Caring Folk to anyone without hesitation.

We started using Caring Folk in June 2021 to support Mum after coming out of hospital. Throughout the months leading up to her re-admission to hospital and subsequent death in May 2022, she received the best possible care from the Caring Folk team. Only one carer was, in our opinion, unsuitable. Once
this was brought to the attention of the management team it was immediately dealt with and rotas adjusted. The staff and management were very supportive of Mum's needs and the family's needs and quickly responded to any problems that arose offering advice and support as appropriate. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Caring Folk made regular care visits to my father from November 2021 to May 2022. After a poor experience with another care company, it was refreshing to switch to Caring Folk and enjoy punctual service, carers who went beyond expectations and good regular communication with the management. As well
as caring effectively for my father, Caring Folk allowed me to relax more when I was not with him because I knew he was in good hands. It was also very touching that the manager of the company and another regular carer attended the funeral of my father. Good, reliable, caring companies are hard to find but Caring Folk is definitely one of these.

Caring Folk was totally committed to caring for my grandparents. Even during Covid, we had no problems with continuous care.
We moved to them from a different company. During the change over the manager of Caring Folk kept me updated.
When my grandma passed away she had her family around her. A member
of Caring Folk was also present. The lady was professional and caring towards everyone who was there. She handled the situation with dignity and professionalism.
The care continued solely for my grandad. Each member of staff who cared for him was empathic. Although occasionally due to his illnesses he could be cantankerous, each member of the team dealt with him professionally.
Any problems that occurred with his care I was informed. Staff are easily accessible and return calls if out of the office. Caring Folk are angels and they always went that extra mile.

I can't praise this company enough. The managers and their amazing team gave my mum outstanding end-of-life care. Mum came to see each carer as her friend and often looked forward to their visits and their company. They made her last few months as comfortable and as dignified as possible, often staying
longer than their allotted time to assist with the things that were important to Mum, e.g. blowing/drying her hair a certain way and ensuring her she looked feminine, alongside other seemingly small tasks that were important to Mum. The care manager was regularly in touch with Mum and myself to ensure her care changed regularly, often daily as the cancer progressed, and was always friendly, approachable and efficient. The team gave the highest standard of care, nothing was too much trouble and, as a family, we will be eternally grateful and in awe of your individual skills and human kindness shown to myself and my sister when we struggled to cope with the speed of our mum's illness.

I felt compelled to write a review and give five stars to Caring folk. They have been going to my father's since January, and from my first contact to my last, every single person in the business is fantastic. The care and respect they gave my father was brilliant, which for him was a very difficult
time as not only was he ill his wife was also in hospital with neither able to see each other
He looked forward each day to the visits and their chats. Thank you all!

Over a two year period the staff at Caring Folk gained my sister's trust and she enjoyed their visits. Previously she was not used to contact with anybody other than family. They advised us how to deal with various incidents that arise and pointed us in the right direction to get help. Any problems
found on their arrival were reported to us the same day. We felt my sister was being given all the attention needed.

The very least I can do is leave a 5 star review for this amazing care company.
Management and their team of fabulous naturally compassionate and caring ladies cared for my mum like she was their mum. Treated with respect and dignity always and gave her constant reassurance and much-needed humour
at times and always a happy cheery up face for mums
down days made such a difference to her day. These amazing ladies became an extended part of
our family in our hour of need. Punctual reliable and well organised company always contactable. Much love and gratitude to them all.

At stressful times when a loved one is terminal, it's a great relief to have someone who is so beautiful, kind, caring come into your home. My husband looked forward to the girls coming. The care they gave him was wonderful. It's strange having people come in to do something you've always done, but
they never made me feel as if I was in the way. We both loved the girls, and the love they showed certainly came from the heart. Thank you so much.

Caring Folk provided home visits four times per day for my late father. After one fall too many my father agreed to his home being converted into a care home and, after reading good reviews, we employed Caring Folk to provide his home care. From when they started right up to my father's passing, they
provided fantastic care and are very approachable and easy to get on with. He got on very well with the carers that visited him once they had adapted to his strange little whims. I really can't fault the level of care this company provided us with.

I was very happy with the care given to my mum at such hard times, all staff were kind, caring, and helpful. I found the care given was at such a high standard that sometimes I looked at them as the best care rather than a doctor or nurse, not only for my mum but for support for me as I was caring for
her at end of life.
Two members of staff attended her funeral and that meant the world to me as it was a very sad time.

The team at Caring Folk have provided an excellent, flexible and reliable caring service for both my parents over the last few years.
We lost my father who had acute vascular dementia last August. The loving and dignified care provided by the team leader and the team was outstanding, particularly
given the complex nature of his needs. They went the extra mile when it was needed most and it is that which makes the difference.
I was pleased that I could retain the services of the team to now look after my mother as they are vital in providing the support and care she needs.
So, a successful partnership and one I am very happy to recommend.

The manager and her team have been caring for my father and stepmother over the last two years. The consistency and flexibility Caring Folk were able to give at different times to meet the needs of my parents was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and we could not have managed without their support.
During Covid, they provided social interaction and friendly, familiar faces. They ensured that the staff were consistent and would always try to accommodate the individual preferences of my parents.
The manager has gone above and beyond to help my father to ensure he was safe, to support him as I live so far away from him. She was always very professional whilst caring and nothing was too much trouble. I will always be extremely grateful for the Caring Folk team.

Communication could be better between carers and management sometimes.
Overall, Mum seemed happy with the care she was given once she got used to it.
We had to change the care plan on a few occasions and management and carers were always very obliging.

The manager and her dedicated team could not have done more for my mum and stepfather over the two years they provided home care.
Nothing was too much trouble and the manager would often pop by just to make sure that everything was going well. At the end of the two years, there were four care visits
a day.
If ever a carer was ill, the registered manager or her care team manager would step in to make sure there was no gap in the care schedule.
My mum was not the easiest client - she always saw reasons to criticize (even when there were not any) and the manager was so clever in dealing with her and earned enormous respect from Mum as a result.
Mum learnt in her last few months that it cost nothing to say thank you and at least then, not only the family but mum herself made sure the carers knew that we really appreciated their support.
I cannot say enough about how this company lives up to and beyond their name. Even after Mum and her husband had left the house, the manager would pop by and check on things.

The manager and her team gave my parents an excellent service.
I had no idea how to even begin putting a care package together and was struggling with the whole situation.
The manager came and spoke to me to reference my parents' needs and my availability and capabilities and within a few days, we
had everything covered.
All the carers were professional and motivated but also caring and considerate and very approachable and friendly.
Although our circumstances kept changing, the manager just dealt with it with no fuss or complaints.
I found Caring Folk to be a professional company and would recommend them to anybody in the awful situation of needing home care.
We can’t thank them enough for the service they provided for my mum and dad.

Caring Folk have provided domiciliary care for almost a year up until his admission into full-time residential care. My dad lives with Parkinson's and Lewy body dementia and can fluctuate daily in his needs. Every carer that looked after my dad was very friendly and treated him with so much respect.
He became attached to a couple of the carers who were able to stimulate him and get a reaction which isn't always easy. With the help of people at Caring Folk, we were able to keep my dad longer at home than expected, particularly after his sudden deterioration. I have recommended Caring Folk to a number of people both via work and personally and would like to thank them for all of their help over the last twelve to eighteen months.

The Caring Folk team cared for my mum from April until she sadly passed in November.
There aren’t enough words to describe the amazing care they provided to Mum and myself. From day one the team built such a fantastic bond with her whilst providing the best care. My mum was always reluctant to have
carers as she had been so independent, but she adapted so well and loved them all, she called them “her best friends” and that says so much. It gave me comfort knowing that she was looked after so well.
The management and carers became like family to me also and I will be forever grateful, nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend Caring Folk.
