a) The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 5.000 for Helping Hands Home Care (Bath) is calculated as follows: ( (24 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 5
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Helping Hands Home Care (Bath) is based on 4 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 = 4.25
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

Job Title: Branch Care Manager
About me
At Helping Hands Bath & Keynsham, my main role is to ensure that we provide high-quality of care and a safe service. I make sure that the branches run smoothly day-to-day ensuring that both customers and carers are happy and have the best positive outcomes.
Providing person-centred care and support.
I joined helping hands in Oct 2021 but have worked in care for over fifteen years, starting as a carer for a domiciliary provider in Bristol. I then joined a children's charity in Bristol that provided short breaks for disabled children ages 8-18 within a residential setting, after ten
years I was ready for my next challenge. I joined Helping Hands as a Care & Training Practitioner, then Care Coordinator and now Branch Manager. I have always wanted to work in care since I was in school. I am very proud of my team who are hard-working, caring, diverse and inspirational.
A bit about me - I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, enjoying pub quizzes, movies and eating out. I have two children who I am very proud of and two cats. My perfect day would be sitting beside an open fire with my family and friends.
My experience and expertise
I have had various roles throughout my career, starting at Somerfield Store I worked within the Voice Department at the head office based in Bristol as a Voice Analyst and later as a Security Services Analyst for BT. I have worked as a receptionist and PA for a software
development company. I worked as a carer for a few years while my children were young and then joined a charity that provided short breaks for disabled children. There I was a Senior Administrator - running the home day-to-day alongside the Registered Manager. I
joined Helping Hands in Oct 2021 as a Care & Training Practitioner and moved up to Care Coordinator and now Branch Manager.
I have 2 Level 3 Diplomas’ in Business Administration and Residential Childcare. I am currently studying for a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
Why I chose Helping Hands
I was looking for my next challenge, now that my children are older I was able to dedicate my time to my career. I wanted to stay working in care and I had always enjoyed the training aspect of my old role, so I went for the Care & Training Practitioner role at Helping Hands. I
had heard good things about the company from a friend who had also started working for Helping Hands.
I am very happy to be promoted to Branch Manager and feel proud. I am really looking forward to supporting as many customers as we can to stay at home, to have the care and support needed to achieve this.
I am passionate about providing the best care we can, and about growing the branches to be able to support more people to stay at home. I enjoy meeting people and learning about our customers' lives, their stories and life history.
