a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

Job Title: Branch Care Manager
About me
My responsibilities as a branch manager include; overseeing the day to day running of the branch, recruiting new carers, making sure that compliance is kept on top of to ensure the service is safe and well run.
I joined the care industry because I wanted to have a career where I felt that I would make a real difference in people's day to day lives.
I genuinely believe that the service we provide is the best in the area. We have handpicked carers who share the ethos of the company and who fit in well with our customers & existing team members. My carers go above and beyond for their customers and treat them with the utmost dignity and respect.
When I'm not at work I like to spend time with my family on long walks with my two dogs.
Experience and expertise
I have worked in a range of different health and social care settings. I started at 18 in a local nursing home as a care assistant, I then moved on to our actute hospital, then over to a hospice. I gained my NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social care which allowed me to apply for more senior roles, I was a team leader for a home care provider and then moved up to be a care coordinator. I then took a break to have my children and came straight back into care by joining Helping Hands. I am now working toward my Level 5 in Health and Adult Social Care.
Moving through different areas of the sector has given me a well rounded view of what care is and a deep understanding of the industry.
Why I chose Helping Hands
I chose Helping Hands because at the time, we didn't have any branches in the local areas and I thought it was exciting to have the opportunity to start a brand new service in my local area. I started as a care coordinator with one of our amazing branch managers, she gave me the freedom, responsibility and support for me to realise that I was ready for the next step in my career.
I am excited to see my branch grow with our wonderful care team.
I really enjoy being able to help people to stay in their own homes so they can maintain their independence as much as possible in a place where they are happy and content.
