  • Our visiting domiciliary care rates start from £18.00 for a 30 minute visit to £30.00 for a 60 minute visit.
    Our Live-in Care Service rates range from £1300.00 to £1500.00 per week.


  • Weekend and Bank Holiday enhancements apply.
    Rates are inclusive of all travel costs.
    VAT is not chargeable on our services.

I had a live in carer for 2 weeks post major surgery. She cooked, cleaned, laundered as well as generally looking after me and my needs.
What a lovely person. She quietly got on with things without being intrusive. I would definitely recommend Calida Care.
The manager kept in touch with me throughout
and made sure the carer got here safely and was taken to her next post.
I have not had carers before so don't know about costs, but I do feel I had a proper personal service from Calida, so would highly recommend to others.

I have only recently employed Calida for a specific set of needs for my mother. They have provided this care from the end of March and throughout April. I had to appoint them suddenly as a difficult situation manifested itself quite quickly. I was concerned that Mum got the right care with the right
people.
An initial meeting with the care manager and office manager in Mum's flat ensured all parties were able to become acquainted and all questions could be dealt with.
As a result, Mum has had to get to know just 2 carers who look after all her current needs. Much of their work has been in taking Mum to various appointments at her surgery. Without fail they have turned up on time, leaving sufficient time to get Mum into and out of the car, etc.
The manager has been on hand for me at all times as a point of contact and coordinated everything I have asked for straight away. She has also freely given her time to help me navigate government form filling.
A first-rate service.

Calida Care has been looking after me four times a day for just over a year now and every member of the team is friendly, knowledgeable, considerate, gentle, and very kind and caring. I have been using Calida Care for just over a year now and have recently had to increase their visits to three per day. All of the team of carers are a great company and it's such a relief to be able to trust them with my and my wife's needs.
Nothing seems too much and the carers are all very friendly
and considerate.
My daughter is constantly in touch with the management team which enables them to deliver the best service. I have recently started using their emergency response service which has been invaluable as I tend to fall quite often. In particular, the care manager has been an absolute gem coming out to me in the early hours. I wouldn't want to use any other care company.

After much concern for my father and with the assistance of the agency, Dad was convinced of the need for help. Calida Care have been providing care for my mother for around 18 months now, after a few agencies prior to Calida there had been a lot of unsettlement for Mum and family over the past almost 6 years, inconsistency in standards, timekeeping etc, so anxieties were always high all round, which was not
a good atmosphere for Mum, who is living with advanced dementia.
This past 18 months, the care has been wonderful from Calida, every single carer has been and are always very professional, prompt and great with Mum, engaging with her in different ways, ie singing, chatting, having a giggle, and understanding her needs, and work well with Mum's live-in carer, we are all so much more relaxed and we know Mum is too! And we know we are always supported by the friendly office staff whenever we speak with them. We hope they will continue to provide care for Mum as long as she needs them.

The Calida Care team provide a fantastic service mainly for my mother, a nine-year serious stroke survivor, and also serving meals to both parents. All of the team operate with a friendly smile, lots of patience and care; they are all very respectful and cheerful and make an effort to have conversations
with both parents even though my mother has lost her speech! My parents have so much confidence in the team that they have allowed male carers to attend and are pleasantly surprised by how much they like them visiting. The care manager is in regular contact with me with updates and questions which really gives me peace of mind as I live an hour and a half away and visit once a week. Overall, we are very pleased with the service that Calida provides.

Overall, very happy with this company, Calida Care, to whom have been providing personal care, sit calls for my mother for some time now. The management team have and are always so very helpful and friendly as are all the staff members/carers I've met over the years looking after my mother.
I strongly
believe they have a good, solid, reliable, punctual, interacting team to when it comes to the client, my mother, also where they're constantly interacting with her, making sure she feels comfortable/happy and at ease, where she suffers from anxiety and vascular dementia.
I'd personally recommend this company to anyone who ever needs a helping hand caring for a loved one, everyone is so professional and it's always a pleasure when I do get the opportunity to talk to them.

Calida Care has provided an excellent service in looking after my husband for just over a year now. Right from the beginning, l have found it a well-managed company and always ready to help out when extra care has been needed at a moment's notice.
He has dementia and, having suffered a stroke, is now
unable to walk, speak or read and is fed via a PEG as his swallow is poor.
His care is complicated; medicine is time sensitive and he must be sitting up for 1 hour either side of a feed, so it’s essential that his care is reliable regarding the timing of the many calls he has daily.
In spite of all his disabilities, the carers find a way to communicate and engage with him, their patience and kindness being rewarded with one of his lovely smiles and sometimes a wink and that means so much to me. We really couldn’t manage without them and it’s a delight to have them in our home.

I joined Calida Care in January 2022. I had been working alongside their team for a number of years in a consultancy role and decided I wanted to become a permanent fixture within this wonderful company. I began my social care career in in 1999 when I joined one of the first ever domiciliary care providers in the country. Having worked in a nursing home prior to this I was immediately converted to the benefits of caring for people in the comfort of their own homes. Calida Care fully brings to life the concept of 'there's no place like home' and I truly believe there is no better company to care for you or your loved ones in their own, familiar surroundings.


In my spare time, my 10 year old son, Sebastian keeps me busy. We enjoy Formula 1 Motor Racing, going to the theatre and walks with our Jack Russell/Chihuahua cross, which is a bundle of fun and mischief!

I have worked in Social Care for more than 40 years and attained my professional social work qualification in 1988. My early experience was gained in the public sector prior to setting up my first care business in 2001.
I have always been passionate about the delivery of high quality home based care services that recognise the individuality of each and every recipient of our care.
With my wife Jane, who's also a fellow director, in forming Calida Care we wanted to bring together some of the most accomplished senior staff in our field who shared our passion, values, high standards and expectations. We wanted to create and develop a care company that championed excellent care practices whilst respecting and celebrating the uniqueness of each of our customers.
We sincerely believe that we are achieving this whilst continuously striving to further improve.

Away from work our interests mostly revolve around our family and friends and in particular, our own children who's ages span some 28 years, ranging from just 5 to 33!
We also enjoy travelling.
