Aphoenix Care are a mid-sized, independent Home Care Company which was formed in 2019 by a manager with over 30 years’ experience within all aspects of the care sector. The aim was to build a company which is underpinned with family core values at the centre of it.

Aphoenix Care believes everyone has a vocation in life, and they employ staff members who believe theirs is to care for others and make a difference to people’s lives. When you find your vocation in life it is not work, it really is like visiting family each day and supporting them in living life to the full. The team place care and compassion above everything else they do, ensuring they deliver a service that empowers each person they support.

The team are extremely proud of their recent Care Quality Commission rating (April 2021), receiving good in 4 areas and an outstanding in care, which is the highest level you can achieve. They have also just been awarded recognition in the Top 20 Home Care Providers (August 2022) which they are extremely proud of.

Good experience with Aphoenix Care. One of the staff is always on the end of the phone should we have any queries or need help. The carers are friendly and empathetic towards my Mum and the family. They treat her with dignity

Fantastic service. Very friendly but also professional. The staff are compassionate, and thorough in what they do. Would highly recommend. My Dad is very happy with the service he receives. He is always telling me how well he is looked after.

Everyone is so caring while looking after my mum. I can trust all the carers to look after all her needs. Nothing is too much trouble.

Aphoenix Care provides a team of very reliable, considerate, and caring carers who go beyond their duties to look after my Mum who sometimes is quite difficult. From the very start of Aphoenix taking care of my bedbound, double incontinent, very poorly husband when he was cruelly discharged from hospital, they gave him excellent care. They went out of their way to cater to his needs and were on the end of the phone when I rang them to help him. They looked
after my husband with such dignity and care as he was a very proud man and absolutely hated what he ended up being. They were there almost to the end when he died 5 weeks ago. Then, they went out of their way to comfort me afterwards. I highly recommend this company and couldn't have wished for better care for my beloved man.

I find the service provided to me is first class. They are always there for me in person or on the phone. I live alone, (my wife sadly died in 2012) so to have someone who cares for you, to be there, is priceless.

Have found the Apheonix care team very responsive, patient and kind. The staff who I have met have been like family to me, each day and no matter which carers come, they all bounce in and perform their tasks efficiently.

Giovanna Grieco

Job Title: Founder

Giovanna's journey in care started when she was 16, I made a cup of tea for a lady in a nursing home, and the look on this beautiful lady's face when I placed the cup on the table touched a place in my heart.


This is where my passion began! I have worked in nursing homes, extra care schemes, prison service, secure units, A&E, hospitals and multi-domiciliary sites for over 34 years.


The biggest thing I have learnt in life is that "people work for people" and Care workers are absolutely amazing people. Our hearts are beautiful and we enable people to stay at home, surrounded by their whole world, with our dedication and compassion for what we do.


The reason behind Aphoenix Care is the passion to make a difference as small as each day can be, but to make a difference to one person each day, makes each day worthwhile.


To build a family-run company with a team who share the same values and who feel part of the Aphoenix Family is such an amazing adventure and we're making that difference every single day, I am very proud to be part of such an amazing family.
