I find the carers very helpful. They always ask me, after doing my legs and making me a drink, if there is anything else I would like them to do. They are quite willing to do anything and nothing is too much trouble. I believe I have a very good net of carers.

The carers have been fantastic throughout my time using the service. Staff are friendly, professional and go above and beyond to ensure the welfare of clients. In my instance, repeatedly contacting outside agencies to ensure that an infection was treated by a nurse- an infection I would not have known
about if not for the understanding and knowledge of the carers. Alongside personal care, the carers were eager to help with chores and cleaning to ensure my home was a clean environment to recover. This allowed me to focus on getting better without any external stresses. I cannot recommend Bluebird care more highly. Thank you!

My husband is always treated with patience, dignity and respect, although he can be a little challenging at times. Carers are always caring and friendly to us both. Occasionally, there is concern when we are not informed of a time change in the rota but this is just an observation, not a criticism.

Reply from Kerry Hobbs, Director at Bluebird Care East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft

Thank you for your very positive review. Whilst we do our utmost to reach all our clients at the designated time, there are occasions when this is just not possible. We may have been delayed in an earlier client call or combination of calls and of course, heavy traffic can cause problems at times. Our policy is to call ahead and make clients aware of a change in time, so please accept my apologies if we have not achieved this consistently. Once again, thank you for your kind comments.

Mum has been a service user for a couple of years now and has been very pleased to continue as a user. Her needs have increased over the past 12 months and the carers and management have been able to sympathetically adjust to the changes required to keep a centenarian living independently.
I and Mum
would recommend them without hesitation.

Reply from Kerry Hobbs, Director at Bluebird Care East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft

Thank you for your kind words. I will ensure these are passed on to the team who care for your mum.

Bluebird Care Lowestoft have provided home care for my mother for 2 weeks. All the staff have been great with my mum; kind, punctual, conscientious and understanding. The management team has been super efficient and helpful (promptly responding to my emails and requests). From my short experience with
them, I would recommend the service they provide.

Bluebird Care East Suffolk & Great Yarmouth provided home care for my parents for nearly a year. All the staff were lovely: kind, conscientious and competent. The management team was efficient and helpful. Following my father's passing the Bluebird carers helped my mother come to terms with her need
to go into permanent residential care.

The carers always arrived on time and were always kind and compassionate with my grandmother. My grandmother loved the carers visiting and often let them know she loved them. All the carers looked after my grandmother as though she was a member of her own family.

I have worked in social care for over 20 years. Bluebird Care Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft care workers have been visiting my brother since the beginning of November. They are a really caring group of individuals. There is one that stands out for me. This staff member thought my brother was going to
be alone over Christmas and invited him to spend Christmas with her. She didn't know I was moving to the area over that time and that he was spending that period with me. Kindness and compassion equal a beautiful soul, this team of care workers have shown this in abundance.

Job Title: Director

I decided to buy Bluebird Care following my own journey of trying to help my elderly Grandparents choose the care they needed, and the questions that arose throughout that journey of how to maintain the best quality of life that we could for them.

East Suffolk & Great Yarmouth is a very familiar area to me and where I and the majority of my family still live. It is very important to me that I contribute to this wonderful community and offer opportunities to the people that live there.

Both myself and the fantastic, dedicated team that I work with at Bluebird Care have a passion for what we do. We aim to be the quality choice for domiciliary and live-in care within our community.
