StellarCare NW has male and female care staff, all of whom are trained to provide a high level of care.   • We offer a wide range of services with costs starting at £28.00 per hour per carer - fee fully inclusive of weekend and evening rate, staff travel and live alert system.

StellarCare provide personal care for my husband who has serious and complex health problems and is bed-bound. He is therefore reliant on carers for all his personal care needs. We are both delighted with the service provided by StellarCare. The carers are all highly skilled and professional whilst
being friendly, kind and respectful of my husband's dignity. They are alert to any developing problems and communicate well with our GP practice when needed. They also communicate well with me. The managers are easily contactable and responsive. We are grateful to them all.

The carers are very professional. They all arrive with a smile and cheery greeting. Without exception, they put my husband's care in the forefront. They will chat to him whilst dressing, washing etc and are all discreet. I know how much my husband looks forward to them coming each visit. We would like

I cannot thank our carer enough for the care he gives to my dad during his night-sits. He has a very caring nature and has shown much respect during his shifts. This enables me to get my sleep without being disturbed and to be able to care through the days. He is punctual and very accommodating to my
dad's needs. He shows confidence in his care and has got to know Dad well now, which helps him settle. Thank you Dad's carer.

I find the service very good. The staff are very polite and willing to help. Having had the same carers more frequently, they have got to know my needs and routine, making things easier, both for me and the carers themselves. I hope I have been able to teach some of the less experienced members how
to do things, as they appear less confident, especially when delivering personal care. They introduce themselves when they arrive and wear the uniform giving the feeling of safety.

Overall, I am very pleased with the continuing care my husband is getting. Nothing is too much for the carers to do when asked to do a task.
All the carers are respectful and make an effort to get to know the people they are helping. My husband gets on well with them, and I find them warm and friendly.

Stella Care provides a professional, reliable service. The carers are extremely polite and knowledgeable when changing catheters, showering and personal care.
They turn up on time; if for some reason they are going to be a bit late, they ring to inform the client.
They are friendly, extremely polite
and caring.
I would highly recommend this company. There is no comparison with the service from the previous unreliable company we had.

StellarCare provided care for my late mum for the last two weeks of her life.
I wasn't impressed with the care staff that were sent out as they didn't stay the full length of the time allotted for my mum, they sometimes didn't wash her properly. There was no rapport between them and my mum and the
staff seemed very poorly trained.
All in all, if your elderly relations are allocated this care company you should ask for another one.

All staff undertake end of life learning prior to working with us, we then cover this during our face to face induction after which staff must pass rigorous competencies that are completed while working in the field. Since your comments we have incorporated additional learning on end of life care to ensure staff are fully aware of the importance of providing dignity and care to those approaching the end of their life. I understand this may be too late for you, however, I wish to offer reassurance that we have learnt from your comments and have taken steps to ensure we provide the best care possible.

The care that the members of the team gave my mum was phenomenal; the care and compassion given was first class. My mum always felt supported and comforted by the team, as did my brother and sister.

StellarCare NW was founded in April 2018 by a Stella Shaw, a Registered Nurse with a long history of working in the NHS and Education sector.


Stella left the NHS to work as a Personal Assistant within her local community providing a wide range of services including personal care, offering companionship, undertaking domestic duties and offering general assistance to customers in their own homes aiming, to support customers to live as independently as possible.


Such roles are offered by a myriad of Social Care agencies however, the ethos of StellarCare NW is to integrate Social Care roles with health by offering an additional level of care and support by utilising nursing knowledge and skills and thus, offering a Nurse-Led approach to care in the community.


It is the desire of StellarCare NW to raise care standards in the community and improve Customer access to Health Care Services in a timely manner aiming to prevent, identify and treat disease utilising community healthcare provisions more effectively, the overall benefit being the reduction of unnecessary hospital admissions and keeping the mind and body as best as possible for as long as possible.

Ting is a qualified nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from China and a Master of Science degree in Advanced Clinical and Professional Practice, with a speciality in the care of older people. Her care career began as a part-time nursing assistant at the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland, and she has extensive experience volunteering in a range of care settings, including retirement apartments, nursing homes, and clients' homes.
