My family really appreciate the splendid service provided by both the office staff and care givers.
The office staff respond efficiently to all queries and are proactive in their approach to the care and wellbeing of my mother. They update information speedily ensuring everyone is fully aware of mum's
care needs.
Their attention to detail in communication gives confidence that all staff are working effectively to ensure a good level of service is constantly provided.

Cannot praise Home Instead highly enough. All of my mum's carers were patient, kind and gentle with her. The area manager was always on hand for any queries or modifications to the package and was more than happy to come to the house for meetings.

We cannot praise this home care company enough. Our elderly neighbour has been a client for the last couple of years and has found the carers unfailingly kind, caring and professional. We keep an eye on our neighbour as he has no close relatives in this country and Home Instead have been wonderful.
Highly recommend.

I found Home Instead to be most helpful and explanatory when phoning. The carers were well-introduced to me and they were helpful and caring. I couldn't fault them at all.

We had the utmost care and consideration for my mother. The ladies in the office were always kind and helpful. My mother's carer was simply the best. My mother looked forward to her daily visits. She brought great joy to my mother's life. Sadly Mum's health deteriorated and she has to go into a full
time care home but we will always be grateful for the care and attention given to her.

Staff arrived on time. Very pleasant. Did all the tasks required in a friendly manner. The office/admin staff were also helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend them and use the company again once the present situation with my parents has been sorted.

Home Instead have been caring for our grandmother for the last six months. the staff are lovely. Kind, respectful and understanding of the support my grandmother needs.

Personal care is provided in the evenings only to help get my partner to bed. Staff generally arrive on time and manage to perform all necessary tasks competently and efficiently well within the hour time slot.
The small number of different staff invested in the care helps with the acceptance of the
care she needs. Management send weekly timesheets electronically so I know when to expect and this is helpful and they contact me should there be any changes or issues in their ability to deliver care. The agency is however one of the more expensive in the area and allocated only the hour time slots where maybe 30 minutes or 45 minutes slots would suffice.

I am very impressed by the care and support that my mum and I are experiencing from the whole team.
The weekly assistance the carers give my mum is so special as they show such empathy even though she is nearing the end of her days.
I would also like to praise the care manager who is also is very
empathetic and gives myself and the carers such valuable support through her practical advice and concern for every client to be given a just life to the end of their days.

The care manager and carers didn't just support Mum; they supported me and gave me advice at a time when I felt completed overwhelmed by circumstances. They were very caring towards Mum, even when she was being extremely challenging. They went above and beyond so many times. Thank you.

September 2021 Home Instead started caring for my mum at home with four visits per day seven days a week. They carried out their visits with first class care, attention and dignity, never once failing to be on time they are a first class company in every department.

The Home Instead (Bristol East) team have all been just amazing, from assessment, communication, liaising with me to sort out issues regularly. My Mother-In-Law although reluctant at first, having just come out of the hospital, by day 4 loved having carers to help her be independent in the bathroom,
encourage her to walk, take care of her appearance and just boost that lack of confidence after 18 months of lockdown and isolation.
A truly great company, teamwork, kindness, caring and professional. Thank you from all the family.

Once we were both heading in the same direction and goal, namely her best interests. I have nothing but praise for the admin and staff. Whatever was required they managed to cater for her requirements, even at short notice. I only wish it was possible to reengage, but that is unlikely due to current
issues - must add nothing to do with this company.

Having experienced first-hand, the need for services for my elderly parents; it has become increasingly important to me to be able to do more to support the ever-growing number of senior people in our population. I was drawn to Home Instead’s values and beliefs and opened my first franchise in Weston Super Mare in 2012. I owned this until 2017 when I took some time out to return to South Africa (my birth country).


In November 2019, I was proud to be the first person to return to the franchise network and open our Bristol East office (in Hanham.) The brand of Home Instead is flourishing and our team here continues to grow in numbers and experience. I am confident that as we continue to look to the future, we can provide outstanding home care services within the community of Bristol East and surrounding areas.
