We transferred to Home Instead from another agency due to an increase in care needs for mum. Home Instead were excellent, stepping up at short notice. The caregivers were organised as a team of 4 so that my mum got to know them, and they provided a weekly schedule so mum knew who to expect. All the
staff were lovely, professional and approachable. I would highly recommend Home Instead to anyone seeking care at home.

One of the areas we work very hard on is speed of response, flexibility, and providing peace-of-mind to loved ones that they can entrust care of their loved ones to us. The care staff who looked after your mom loved visiting her. Each client is indeed very dear to us and we always want to become an extended member of the family, able to do whatever is needed to enhance day-to-day life and ensure they can remain in their own home for as long as possible.

The entire team at Home Instead in East Bristol are outstanding. They are an invaluable source of support not just to the service user but also to the service user's family. When the key worker/carer was on leave, Home Instead were able to provide another carer to cover and the seamless transition in
the care provided is something that I am appreciative of. The interpersonal skills of staff both in the office and those providing the care are truly exceptional and the level of service and commitment to their roles outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble and they have both always gone above and beyond, a truly exceptional company and one that I would have no hesitation in highly recommending if you are looking at home care for a loved one.

I cannot fault the care that has been given to my husband over the last few months. The carers have always been kind, caring, respectful and considerate. The company itself has been very efficient to deal with and always available at the end of the phone. I would certainly recommend them.

Very helpful and friendly service also very informative and extremely good service. As a family, we did not warn the service to end, but my father’s decision was his to make, however, misguided he is being.

It is a pity your dad decided to discontinue services even though your parents looked forward every day to their assigned CAREGiver coming in but he felt he is now able to cope by himself and to assist your mom with her daily care needs.

Having experienced first-hand, the need for services for my elderly parents; it has become increasingly important to me to be able to do more to support the ever-growing number of senior people in our population. I was drawn to Home Instead’s values and beliefs and opened my first franchise in Weston Super Mare in 2012. I owned this until 2017 when I took some time out to return to South Africa (my birth country).


In November 2019, I was proud to be the first person to return to the franchise network and open our Bristol East office (in Hanham.) The brand of Home Instead is flourishing and our team here continues to grow in numbers and experience. I am confident that as we continue to look to the future, we can provide outstanding home care services within the community of Bristol East and surrounding areas.
