We are sorry to learn that this is how you feel despite being listened to and requests/concerns addressed. Set visit times were in place though you advised staff that you were not particular about your visit times. Staff are trained to maintain good friendly working relationships with service users but cannot befriend them on a personal level. These are professional guidelines across the Health and Social Care sector to prevent abuse. Hence we reminded ex-members of staff of the above and requested them not to sit in your property when our care staff are attending to you. Male/female staffing arrangements were agreed at the beginning of the service. We endeavoured to often provide a female staff and regular staff wherever possible. However, staff rotations are necessary for staff learning and development and for promoting healthy professional relationships to avoid situations of over-familiarity to the detriment of the service. We value our service users and staff safety and wellbeing.
