They would never aim to be one of the largest care companies, preferring to maintain a friendly yet professional atmosphere across all of the team. They are a local company, employing local people, and genuinely wanting to make a difference in North Somerset.

They provide Top Quality Training and Supervision to all team members, who are all fully qualified and experienced to provide support within the home : including medication, personal care, social outings, shopping, or just plain companionship.

Their offices are based on the M5 just on the entrance to Weston-Super-Mare, which is a great location to provide care to Weston-Super-Mare, Clevedon, Portishead, as well as the inland areas of Nailsea, Congresbury, Yatton, Backwell and surrounds. They also support clients in Cheddar, Axbridge, Wedmore, and Burnham-on-Sea.

When I was finding a suitable care agency for Mum straight away I found them very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
Mum seems very happy with the carers, it's nice to get a report each time the carers have been.
It's also nice to have the manager coming to Mum's home, and having
a regular catch-up with me and Mum. Seeing how things are going, and being able to change things according to how Mum is coping. Very pleased with the care agency. Top marks from me! The only thing would be nice to have pictures of the carers who are looking after Mum.

I get along with all the Carers very well and it's a highlight of my day to see them.
My main Carer is over twice a week and we get along very well! She's extremely understanding of my abilities and also my struggles and thinks of potential issues I may face with my mobility before even I do! She's
definitely a highlight of my week and I always can't wait for the next visit!
I am able to access the community with her which gives me a great sense of freedom that I feared I wouldn't get back after my mobility declined.
We've built up a very strong helping relationship.
My carer is an absolute delight to be around and she has my full trust. She is efficient, caring, and overall just an amazing human being! I could not be happier with the care I receive from her and the other Carers.
As a whole, the company seems very understanding of my struggles. There's no attempt to tick boxes (or it doesn't show that way in reviews) which makes them a perfect person-centred approach to care.

Right at Home have been amazing looking after my Mum. Although having to have someone in to care for a beloved parent is a hard choice, Right at Home has made it easy. They have been able to provide support when needed, advice when needed, and a friendly ear. They have made Mum feel like she has a friendly
ear coming around three times a day especially when she's suffering from Alzheimer's. It's a comfort knowing Mum has been looked after by people who care.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending their service.

Right at Home have been a part of our family for 2 years now. Providing care to my elderly grandmother who has dementia. The care which is being provided is excellent. She has regular carers coming to visit which is very important for us as it means Nan receives consistency in her care. Carers and office
staff have treated the whole family with respect and always there to support us when needed. The carers are always finding new ways to support my nan. She is looked after so well. Thank you everyone at Right at Home.

I have got nothing but praise for your staff, they are always cheerful and will do anything you ask them to do. They would even walk the dog if I had one! One criticism - I would be very grateful if your office would ring me and tell me the time of my visit is changed, apart from that everything is

Staff are excellent, punctual and always willing to provide the level of care you would expect for a family member.
Unscheduled hospital appointments or admissions lead in most cases to paying for care that is cancelled.

Right at Home have provided regular short-period care for my partner who has Dementia. This on a mainly companionship basis to allow me to make personal appointments etc. with confidence that she will be safe while I'm out. They have been able to regularly provide the companionship of the same good
and confident carer covering the same hours each week. This has been important for the well-being of us both.

The care that my Aunt had from the Right at Home carers was very good. Everyone was very caring and went out of their way to help my Aunt who has dementia. They helped her both physically and mentally. My Aunt always loved to see them and said the carers really cheered her up.

From the initial contact, the company has treated the whole family with respect and listened to our situation, and from then on have provided wonderful care for Mother-in-law. The carers took their time to get to know her and nothing appeared too much trouble.

They came out the next day to assess my Nan and started care straight away, very good and very reliable. They are such a lovely team, all very nice and friendly but my nan does have a favourite.
If you are looking for care this is the team to go with.

The service is very good. I would prefer fewer individuals calling to see my wife. Her condition requires regular callers rather than so many changes. I have no complaints about the service and think the company does very well for my wife.

Our experience with Right at Home is a positive one. I feel that they have my mum's best interests at heart. We have regular carers who have built rapport with our family and carry out their duties with confidence and respect.
The admin team respond well to any queries and I feel they are always keen
to help.
Recently, we have had some new carers visit. My only suggestion is that if they are running late to inform the office so they can let the client know if there is a delay.

Excellent service staff friendly and always happy to help and give advice.
They work well with my mum who helps to care for my dad and gives her time to have a break doing his shower etc.

Right at Home carers have been able to fit into my mum's schedule and become her companions and helpers without any friction or resistance. They are polite, caring and responsive and it’s good to know they are on hand to help out Mum. The Appian app is great also, as I get twice-daily updates on how
mum is doing, what she’s eating and to know that she’s safe and happy after each of the carers' visits.

Right at Home (North Somerset) have been very helpful in providing a broad and consistent care package. Once we all settled into a routine we now have a core care team who are excellent.
The office staff are extremely helpful at sorting any issues for and/or time clashes.
The only challenge has been
getting access to the care system the Right at Home provide.

I find them very friendly and helpful and always ask permission when drying after a shower. They ask if there is anything that they can help with, such as changing my bedding, emptying my dishwasher and putting away things that are clean, also emptying my waste bins.

I am the Manager at Right at Home. My job entails a little bit of everything, including liaising with our wonderful carers and our special clients.


I have been in the care industry for many years. I am extremely passionate about caring for people and ensuring that their needs are met. I lived in South Africa for 35 years, where I worked as a Cardiac ICU nurse. My husband and I moved to the UK in 2016 to be closer to our family. Since I arrived here, I have been working as a carer in the community.

I love spending time with my family, and my two grandsons. I love going for walks in the countryside, and I am an avid reader. I also enjoy doing all sorts of handwork and spend a great deal of time working in my garden.

Hi, I'm Stacey and I have been with Right at Home since January 2021.


I have done a number of roles in that time from CareGiver to Administration to Compliance and now I am the Deputy Manager.


I have worked in Care since 2010 and have a real passion for providing quality, person centred care to those that need it. Being able to provide someone with the help and support they need has always been the most rewarding thing for me and the reason I do what I do. Seeing the joy on the faces of our clients when they get to visit the Zoo or see the Pantomime drives me to provide a social aspect for them as well as provide the day to day care that they need.


I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and going on holidays/adventures with them. We love our camping trips!

Hi, I am Peggy.


I have only worked in care for a year and a half after having come from a legal background. They say when one door closes, another opens. After I was furloughed and then made redundant, I decided to make a career change. It was the best decision I made. I didn’t have any experience in care but with the guidance and training of our team here at Right at Home I now have a thorough grasp of the world of care. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all our clients and working alongside our amazing carers. I still do some care calls and enjoy catching up with the people I have previously cared for.


I used to live in South Africa but returned to the UK in 1986 and have resided in North Somerset ever since.
I have a beautiful tabby cat who shares my life and I sometimes wonder who is in charge of our household!


I enjoy singing and belong to a local Acapella Chorus, called Waves of Harmony. When I am not busy singing with them, I enjoy reading, going for walks and meeting up with my friends.

Hi, my name is Paige. I joined the Right At Home team to become a Care Administrator, and have now moved into a Client Liaison role.


I have worked in the care industry since 2012, specialising in adults with learning disabilities especially. Whilst growing up my Grandad had MS and my Nan was his main carer – she taught me the ins and outs from a very young age. Carers weren’t always very useful so me and Nan would do the care ourselves and send them away. (There weren’t the standards that there are today!) I believe that’s where my love for care comes from.


I very much wear my heart on my sleeve and to be able to enable someone to stay in their own home with what they know best and to adhere to their wishes, is very rewarding!


I have a daughter called Fleur who my world revolves around. In my spare time, I enjoy making memories with family and friends.


I feel privileged to be part of the Right At Home team and have felt very welcomed. I am looking forward to seeing where my journey takes me with Right At Home.

I have worked in care for about 10 years in a variety of different aspects i.e. Care Homes as well as Home Care, in both Carer and Senior Carer roles. I loved the variety of Home Care and seeing different clients so came to Right at Home nearly 2 years ago.


I love Care Work: being able to help each client with whatever it may be. Previously I have worked with Right at Home in the role of Client Liaison Officer. I have now taken on a more staff-focused role, supporting with Training and Development and conducting spot checks in the homes of our clients, to ensure our care team is fully equipped to deliver really Outstanding care.

I came to Right at Home nearly two years ago. Right at Home gave me support and encouragement in finishing my NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and supported me with any training I was interested in undertaking.


I really enjoy meeting clients and supporting our CareGivers.

Hi, I’m Amy and I’m the Community Development Officer.


My background is with a weight loss company and I love being out in the community meeting and engaging with people and supporting them in whatever way I can as well as running group events. I’m looking forward to sharing with potential clients the help and support that is available to them through Right at Home and helping strengthen the community feel of the company.


In my spare time, I enjoy cold water swimming, and if not in the water I can often be found on the beach walking my dog. I also enjoy travelling and am a firm believer in always having the next holiday booked!
