The staff here are great for my grandma and treat her with respect and kindness which is lovely to see especially as the will be there for the foreseeable. She seems happy to be there. Keep up the good work!

My experiences with Alcedo Care are completely satisfactory.
The carers are caring and efficient, they are punctual and treat my husband with respect and dignity during their duties. Nothing is too much trouble and are always polite and caring and treat us both with dignity and respect.

My carer is always friendly and does all the jobs I need help with. My carer does my jobs the way I like them doing. I'm always treated with respect and dignity. If anything comes up i.e. like pop across to the shop, open a window that I can't - the carer will do it for me. If I need a meal, the carer
is always happy to do this for me. I like the way my carer can see things that need doing that I hadn't seen. They will do this without question. I enjoy my chats on visits.

I have been with Alcdeo Care around two years and all the carers have been great. The staff in the office are wonderful and always happy to help.
The carers always do as I ask without a second thought. I couldn't speak highly enough of everyone. Four members of staff in particular all go above and
beyond. They always take the time to chat and have a laugh with me. Three other particular members of staff are always at the other end of the phone.

Initial problems - to get to the correct hours needed at critical times, the biggest problem was getting through to the local county council (up to 1-hour wait on telephone) otherwise, the service given was good. In some cases, over and beyond the call of duty, for this we are very grateful.

From day one Alcedo have been exceptional.
Everyone, carers, office staff & management have been compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly & professional. Always there when support was needed, not only for my relative but for me as well. Phone calls are always either answered quickly or promptly returned,
unbiased advice is given & anything needed is put in place.
Communication is excellent.
Always going above & beyond what other providers have done. Regular reviews are held, even when the care package is suspended due to long-stay hospital admissions.
Highly recommend Alcedo, huge thanks to all the staff for helping make a difficult situation as easy as possible.
They really 'care'.

My nan recently started with this company. They were so professional from the assessment to the care she is receiving. I don't have to worry as much now as I know they are a phone call away. Absolutely nothing but trouble, constantly turning up three and a half hours late. Rudeness and abuse from two carers. One was swearing do you want to eat mouldy bread. When I have complained they cancelled my contract but it was meant to be in writing but I got it by telephone. I contacted the Area
Manager on the 28th of April and she hasn't bothered dealing with it. The Manager at Preston has a lot to learn. The way you treat your staff is outrageous. No one will answer my complaints since early April they promised they wouldn't leave me without care. The best bit is the price you charged. I rang up a few times angry but that was down to my mental health issues and behaviour problems which I have been diagnosed with and I have emphysema. All this company thinks of is making a profit. But 95 per cent of carers I give 100 per cent great. Job is managed poorly.

It would be nice if management would stick to times as agreed, not what suits them. Whenever you ring up to complain about times agreed they say, 'yes, yes, yes', then revert back to what suits them. I don't have any problem with the carers, they all do a great job. My only complaint is with management.
