Right at home cared for my Dad for nearly 2 years.
Dad looked forward to all visits and enjoyed the Carers company, infant so much so, they were often here longer as Dad loved to chat.
The Carers were also very helpful with maintaining his house, washing and even helping Dad with his shaving. They
were very adaptable if we needed to change visit times or cancel for any reason. We felt happy because Dad was happy with his care and that was the most important thing. Thank you for your help.

Dad has required extra support recently with additional appointments. This has successfully been covered by each carer with their usual courtesy and respect towards him and his individual needs. They pick dad up promptly at the pre-agreed time and then, if required, feedback any information to us afterwards
Thank you

We engaged Right at Home in September 2023 and despite a few hiccups (which were ironed out quickly) and getting the right fit between Mum and her carers, the help Mum received was amazing. I want to praise highly two members of staff in particular for their care and then two other members of staff
for their love, care and compassion at the end of Mum's life.
Would I recommend Right at Home - Absolutely.

My dad was escalated to end of life care it enabled him to come home from hospital something he and we really wanted for his final days. Luckily for us Right at Home were the care provider. The management team were excellent, they explained the procedure and answered our many questions. Although my
dad was only at home for ten days the care he received was second to none. Everyone of 'the girls' (as we called them) were so professional kind and caring towards him. You would have thought they had known him for months not days. They always addressed him by name talked to him and shared a joke. To know my dad had such excellent care and his last few days were peaceful was a great comfort to us. Minutes before the evening carers arrived my dad passed away. They were wonderful and stayed with my brother until the district nurse arrived to confirm the death. I would recommend Right at Home for their professional caring and friendly service, we couldn't have done without them.

My Dad was on end of life care provided by Right at Home and although it only lasted a short while as Dad sadly passed away quickly, I can honestly say the care and professional approach from each of the carers that came was second to none.
Non of the carers ever gave the impression they were in a
rush and my Dad felt reassured in his final days.
The management staff were efficient and always addressed any worries we had.
My Dad passed away shortly before an evening visit and the 2 care staff that attended were wonderful as they took charge and helped my brother who was quite overwhelmed by the experience of losing his Dad.
I rang the next day to thank the staff as too many times it's only criticism that is communicated.
I would recommend Right at Home for being friendly, approachable, professional and willing to go the extra mile.
My Dads final few days were peaceful and the carers helped reassure him all the time.
Many thanks.

Where does one begin..we cannot fault the service we have received over the past 12 months (plus) for my dear, late Grandfather. The carers became family and we received all the support and more from Right At Home (RAH). Overall, we don't have any criticisms, if there was an issue it was dealt with
promptly and the resolution was always successful. Grandad needed quite intense care in the later stages of his life, bed washes, and supported the use of a rotunda. All the carers were very professional and looked after Grandad like he was one of their family members. Can only highly recommend (RAH).

Having been the sole carer for my husband for a number of years, it was difficult for me to admit that I needed more support for him. Following a recommendation, I contacted Right at Home who responded very quickly. The management team are friendly and approachable and any enquiries are dealt with efficiently.
The carers provide both personal care and companionship and they have also been a listening ear for me. They always arrive with a cheerful welcoming smile! They treat my husband with respect and dignity. They also encourage him, whenever possible, to be independent and to make his own choices. His condition is quite complex and routine and familiarity are very important to him. I feel the carers have a good understanding of his needs and communicate really well with each other which results in a very person-centred approach to his care. Having some extra support has also been beneficial to my well-being. I only wish I’d engaged with carers earlier in my husband's journey.

Right at Home (Mid Cheshire) have been providing care for my husband for the last 18 months. Throughout this time the care from both management and caregivers has been exemplary. It would not be an exaggeration to say that they have changed our lives. As my husband’s voice, I have been listened to and
my wishes respected and acted on in the kindest and most professional manner. The management team are always available and ensures our needs are being met. The caregivers who look after my husband are just wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. They are trained to a high standard and are compassionate, and kind and treat my husband with respect. The caregiver who provides his companionship makes him so happy, giving me peace of mind knowing that when I return he will be smiling and has had a lovely time.
The team at Right at Home (Mid Cheshire) really do care and has changed our lives for the better!

I contacted Right at Home (Mid Cheshire) because Mum was very low after the death of her best friend. Although the family visited, Mum missed having a friend to chat to and come over for coffee during the time the family were working. We arranged for a companion and Mum instantly liked the carer, and
after the first hour she felt like she had gained a new friend. The visits are making a big difference to Mum and she looks forward to seeing the carer. Last week, the carer went above and beyond, helping Mum get rid of wasps in the house and this week they have planned a trip out for next week. It also gives us reassurance that a carer is seeing Mum when we’re not there and can let us know of any issues. We are delighted with the service Right at Home provide and really pleased that Mum is enjoying the company of the carer.

After four weeks in bed in hospital, I came home barely able to walk. My son arranged for Right at Home to visit me. It is with their help, support and encouragement over the last year that I have regained confidence and mobility. The management team are also friendly and helpful with little personal
touches (like birthday cards) which make me feel they also care for my well-being.

It has been a lifelong passion of mine to run my own home care business. I’ve worked in the home care sector for over 15 years, including time spent as a CareGiver working my way up to being a Registered Manager and latterly as a part of the Senior Management Team with a market-leading national home care provider.

I have a Level 4 NVQ Registered Managers Award and am an active Dementia Champion in Crewe and Nantwich, delivering free information sessions to organisations and businesses to help create a dementia friendly community.

My real motivation comes from my Grandad who sadly passed away in 2014 following after living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease for nearly 10 years. I grew up in Kendal, in the Lake District living next door to my Nan and Grandad and enjoyed many great years working for my Grandad in his family-run paint and wallpaper shop. As my Grandad’s Dementia progressed, he, of course, needed support and care as he started to struggle with his normal daily routine, and unfortunately, although much of his care was excellent, this wasn’t always the case. I use this as my constant guide to the quality of care we provide our Clients – “Would it have been good enough for my Grandad?” The answer must always be yes.
