Having to find carers to help support our cherished family members has to be one of the most challenging things we have to do when our parents become less independent and in need of care. As a nurse myself I know the standards I would expect and was nervous of any carers looking after my dad. King Homecare
reassured me from the outset and throughout Dad's final months of life, they were very supportive and caring. He always spoke highly of them and looked forward to the visits. They were flexible and responsive to his needs. I could recommend King Homecare.

The staff are highly professional and are able to help with all aspects of daily care.
They are extremely reliable and look after their clients as if they were family.
I can not recommend them highly enough, I would definitely

King Homecare have been very supportive to me and my late husband in his last months. The carers were also courteous and caring, they have continued to visit me following the sad loss of my husband and I have found it helpful with managing my grief. Good time keeping and respectfulness at all times.
Would highly recommend this agency.

I’m an ex-nurse and I thought I’d never find someone special to help support my newly widowed mother - but I have!
It is early days and at the moment it’s about companionship and back-up to me but I’m delighted to say that professional and caring social and physical stimulation from you three days
a week is certainly making for one very contented mother. And that allows me to worry less, feel nearly guilt-free and, best of all, live my own life. Thank you so much King Homecare!

The manager and team have done a great job with my Dad. They know their stuff and have been reliable and diligent in all that they do! Would recommend without hesitation, my Dad seems very happy and at a difficult time dealing with Alzheimer's.

My wife first met the Director some years ago and when we learned that she had established her own care agency we did not hesitate to engage her to provide weekly care to meet my wife's needs. She has a very good ability to listen and understand our situation and to give us guidance into the way in
which care can best be deployed. She has a warm and compassionate disposition and extensive experience in managing care for people with loss of memory and cognitive skills.

King Homeare provided immediately much-needed care at very short notice.
Thereafter the carer arrived at the appointed time every time.
Both carers gained my poor wife's trust very quickly, lifting a great load from my shoulders.
They guided me well on how to try to deal with my wife's deteriorating
dementia.
They gave valuable help when I was faced with difficult decisions.
When a move to a care home became necessary the manager helped both my son and me to make contact with a recommended care home, suggesting the initial arrangements and undertaking the actual move when I could not.
In difficult times for me, after 55 years of marriage, she has continued her support when possible even though our care contract ended some time ago.

I am so fortunate to have found such an incredible agency to give me the courage, support and help for me to remain independent in my own home. The care I have received is exceptional and without this support, I would not have survived. During lockdown knowing I had two daily calls made the days worth
living. I have my meals cooked and I don't have to worry about medication. I am not lonely, we go for drives, and go to lovely places which stimulate my memories and make my day.

From the onset, the level of care, commitment and high standards have been exceptional. Initially reluctant to accept help, my mother has blossomed and now eagerly awaits their daily visits. Cheerful, friendly and engaging, they treat Mum with the utmost kindness and respect. They support and encourage,
are proactive, show sensitivity when needed and work extremely hard to help maintain her independence and dignity. I have been astounded at how quickly they have gained the trust and established a good rapport. Communication is open and accessible to the online portal is invaluable, as enables us to monitor daily visits, medication, eating patterns and well-being. Management is always helpful and willing to discuss any concerns, and it is clearly obvious that they have a great deal of experience within the care sector. The support received as a family, particularly during Covid, has been invaluable and knowing Mum is safe and content whilst in their care has been a Godsend. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend King Homecare.

King Homecare has been outstanding since we were first introduced to them to care for my Mum who has Alzheimer's with Dementia, and to help my Dad as her primary carer. The support from the very beginning was tremendous, and the care provided could not have been better. Needs and areas to support were
quickly identified, and a brilliant and successful effort was made to accommodate this significant change in my parents' lives. The communication was first class, and gave me and my sister great comfort to know that Mum and Dad were being helped; the activities undertaken with Mum were sensitive, appropriate and wonderful to hear of, particularly singing hymns, and talking about their lives. As it became clear that more permanent care was needed, the advice and support we received were superb, selfless and so caring. Throughout the care given was, without doubt, more than we could have hoped for.

After having a major operation, I called upon King Homecare who were able to support me following my hospital discharge. They have been very kind, caring and have acted on my every wish. We cannot praise King Homecare highly enough. At present, Mum just has a visit for companionship, she has short term memory loss and feels comfortable with the patience, understanding and support she receives from her carer. She looks forward to the visits and really enjoys the company. As a family,
not living or working locally and therefore not always on hand for Mum’s needs, it’s such a relief to know she is in safe hands when she goes out. And it’s lovely to receive the Daily Log Notes. It’s so good to know that there is a wealth of knowledge and experience in the care sector that would be available, if we should need it in the future, from King Homecare staff. We would definitely recommend them.

King Homecare care for my father one day a week so that it helps my mother better cope with the day to day issues of living with someone that has Alzheimer's/dementia. This is a real help for the family as we all live so far away and rely on services such as King Homecare provide to ensure my father
can live at home with the knowledge that someone is there to help.
Very professional services that go above and beyond what would normally be expected and even though they are caring for my father, they are equally caring for my mum as she also needs assistance but doesn't always recognise it. Thanks to King Homecare, we as a family know and trust in the service that my father is receiving.

Although King Homecare was only able to help me for a few days, I found them to be most helpful, punctual and totally trustworthy. They spent time gathering information and was able to personalise a care plan for Mum that included everything required. My mother loved their company as ill as my mum was
at the time, she trusted them and so do I. Mother had Alzheimer's among other morbidness and their vast experience of the conditions made Mother's support and care more valuable. The only reason that Kings Homecare did not continue is that sadly Mum passed away but she was very ill and it was her time. King Homecare was also a great comfort to me on my mother's passing. (The dogs also loved them!)
