The service and management support we have received has been outstanding. The lady who visits my dad just knows exactly how to support him, and this has given my mum reassurance and confidence. I can't say thank you enough, especially in these difficult times.

My mum needed some help after a fall. Although she only needed Visiting Angels - East Staffordshire for a short time they were always kind, caring and professional. The help was tailored to her specific needs and very flexible. If she needs help in the future, I would not hesitate to use them again.

I am extremely pleased with the care my husband, who is brain-damaged, receives from Visiting Angels. They look after all his personal needs with dignity and respect. They are gentle and talk to him explaining exactly what they are doing. The carers arrive on time and are very friendly.

I am very satisfied with the care Mum is receiving, it gives me and my partner peace of mind, knowing we can leave the house without any concern. Mum definitely enjoys the stimulation from the various activities she does with the carer.

I am very pleased with the standard of service and care provided by Visiting Angels. It was of vital importance that the elderly gentleman requiring care, be matched with carers suited to his interests and needs. I was impressed by the level of attention to detail by the Care Manager when exactly establishing
the needs so as to provide suitable carers.
The carers are lovely people, caring, conscientious, considerate, patient and most importantly, demonstrate respect and treat the gentleman with dignity and kindness. The gentleman is still the ‘boss’ in his own home, he just has ‘support’ which is what was intended and outlined in the care plan. There was also an assessment of the premises to ensure the carers had adequate facilities with which I was pleased. This demonstrated a commitment not only to the person requiring care, but also a commitment to those providing the care.

Excellent care and respect by all staff caring for my mother.
Always there to reassure and have time and compassion whilst dealing with daily care.
Also, have respect and care for myself and my husband to which we are very grateful.

Mum's carer has visited her four times now and I am pleased that it is going really well. Mum has really taken to her and looks forward to her visits. When I rang Mum to remind her of her carer's visit she said: "She's lovely, she is". Mum's carer is very thorough, making sure that Mum has a lunchtime
meal and recording everything on the nutrition chart. She also leaves notes so we can see what they have been doing.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

Hi, I'm Ashleigh! I started my career in care over 11 years ago and have never looked back. I have experienced highs and lows in this sector but this has made me the person I am today. I always strive to go above and beyond and I'm not afraid to admit I am a bit of a perfectionist.

I want to empower our angels to be the best they can be and deliver excellent quality care and support. I use my knowledge, experience and abilities to train and maintain staff by promoting carer centricity along with exceptional support and maintaining high standards.

My ongoing aim is to support our angels to grow their wings brighter and stronger whilst supporting them to deliver all-around person-centred care. Care is not just a job, it's a journey! A journey we want to help our angels grow in and feel satisfaction for the work and support they give to our amazing clients.

Job Title: Care Team Leader

I began working in the care sector at the age of 17, while studying Child Care at College, I started working part-time in a Nursing Home close to where I live. I stayed for a few years alongside my studies, and when I qualified, I started working in a children's nursery and eventually became Room Leader for the baby unit.

As years passed, I decided to try Domiciliary Care and got a job within a company where I slowly made my way up to the Care Co-ordinator role. I spent many happy years there liaising with social workers and families of the clients we delivered care to.

During my career I have worked in several establishments gaining experience along the way, I have been a private nanny for a family who looked after me well and I accompanied them on their family holidays and would also do some extra babysitting for them a few evenings a week, again I spent many happy years with them up to the point the children were starting school. I have also supported young people with complex needs, but after having my own children, I felt I couldn’t carry out my role to support children with complex needs on a part-time basis and needed something more flexible to work around my children, which led me to Visiting Angels.

I started my VA journey as a Caregiver during the month of November 2020 the year Visiting Angels opened their doors, and now have worked my way up to being a Care Team Leader. I am currently learning my new role and I hope to gain more experience along the way. I enjoy aiding people and maintaining their independence in their own homes all whilst delivering the best possible care.
