Chamomile carers have been supporting Mum for several months now. they support her with tasks such as medication, personal care and meals.
The carers are always kind and patient, they don't rush Mum to get on to their next visit.
The managers are very supportive and responsive to any changing needs
and situations.
We couldn't have managed to keep mum in her own home without their help.

I can not fault Chamomile Care at all, they are the best care company in Oxfordshire. I live abroad and they took fantastic care of my mother. The staff are fantastic and friendly and kept me updated through the whole process of taking care of my mother. Everything from ordering food to keeping the
house clean, Chamomile Care did everything. Nothing was a problem. I could call them anytime. Halfway through my mother's care, she had to have double-handed care four times a day, Chamomile Care did not have the capacity at this time so social services had to change companies. That was the worst thing that could happen to my mother. Her care from the replacement company was unpleasant, horrible and very unprofessional. 'Worst company ever!'.
They did not do their job correctly so my mother's health went downhill very fast. I contacted Chamomile Care and asked what to do. They responded and they worked very hard on getting capacity and I got them back which made my mother very happy in her last days of her life.

Chamomile Care have provided support to my mother-in-law for 8 months. The care staff have been so kind and supportive. There are always the same regular care staff which has resulted in positive relationships. The office staff have always been extremely responsive to any concerns, finding solutions
to any small issues raised. The care has always centred on my mother-in-law's needs and wishes. Would highly recommend them.

We cannot thank the Chamomile Care team enough for all the wonderful, kind and professional care that they gave our mum over the last year or more, not always in the easiest of circumstances. And for their help and support of my brother and I, both practically and emotionally, as we lived over 100 miles
away and could not deal with day to day issues. The Care and Registered Manager and their team were always ready to help out, even out of hours.
What started with light cleaning and care visits 2-3 times a week turned into 24 hour, one to one care, with 3 carers a day doing 8 hour shifts, as Mum's dementia unexpectedly and rapidly became more severe. The staff are truly angels and we will always be very grateful for their kindness and compassion and for going the extra mile to treat Mum with dignity and respect and help her to have as good a quality life as possible, as we lived so far away, before we moved her into a specialist care home recently. I would highly recommend them.

Chamomile Care have been helping to support both of my parents with their different needs for the last three years. Mum has Alzheimer's disease which is getting progressively worse and has good days and bad. Chamomile understand what is needed to ensure she can continue to live with my father in their
own home hopefully for as long as possible. They help Mum with personal care and also help Dad (a wheelchair user since his stroke) by driving and accompanying him to church, a day-centre and appointments, both medical and social, when family can not step in. These are weekly and ad-hoc. We are very grateful to the Chamomile team for their continuing professionalism and flexibility at times when there are unavoidable changes and/or things need to be done at the last minute.

We are happy to have Camomile Care. They are very friendly, and the carers are also good listeners. Customer service is very good.
The care manager is very friendly and a very caring person.
They send the schedule rota every week in advance, which is very useful to us.
There is always someone to
answer the emergency service (out of hours).

Camomile Care were always there in our family's hour of need. Really helped us when we needed respite care for my mum and dad. Not an easy thing to do as it was not just one individual they needed to look after, but both and both with varying degrees of ill health. Would highly recommend them to others

A very good company. Very professional. I have been with them for two years. Staff are very reliable and they are well trained to give good care. I have complex needs and no complaints. They deal with GP and pharmacy very efficiently.

All Chamomile Care staff, who I've met, take their jobs seriously. The carers realise that it is important to keep things light-hearted and yet to treat the clients with respect. I am new to this situation but realise that the best carers are those who get on equally with the clients and their family.
Most of your carers 'fit the bill'. We both have confidence in their practical skills too.

Chamomile Care provided respite care for my very elderly father in his own home while his regular carer was on holiday. My father is losing his sight and has mobility issues which means he needs personal care and help with day to day living.
Throughout registration, assessment and care everybody at
Chamomile Care were professional and very thorough. The care manager came to his home to complete the necessary paperwork. She explained everything very well ensuring that my father was always consulted. She returned nearer the time to shadow his carer and made careful notes to ensure that the transition would be as smooth as possible.
His needs were met brilliantly and the engagement with him was excellent. He very much enjoyed the visits and I felt confident that not only was he safe but also that he was happy with the situation.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Chamomile Care to others and will be sure to use them again as the necessity arises.

My dear dad came home from hospital for what turned out to be end of life care... if you read Chamomile Care’s objectives, I can honestly say they were carried out to the letter.
The manager and his wonderful team could not have been more supportive, especially in making difficult decisions, or empathetic.
They all worked together so well.
I cannot thank them enough for helping me make my dad's wish come true to be at home at this time…it meant everything to us as a family, his children, grandchildren and yes great-grandchildren, to be able to spend time with him, which at that time was impossible in hospital, is beyond anything in the world.

Highly rate Chamomile care, excellent service from start to finish. The first time I have had to use a care agency, I found them friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. Mike Ackers

Job Title: Director and Registered Manager

I started working in social care approximately 13 years ago as a career change. I originally trained in electronics and communications engineering back in the 80s and qualified to operate and maintain a ship’s radio station. I then spent a couple of years in the merchant navy as a Radio Officer. When I came ashore, I had a few jobs maintaining bank dealing room systems and office machines, before settling on joining the MoD where I worked as both a civil servant and consultant for a total of 22 years, finishing up at RAF Brize Norton. When I was 28 I made enquiries into dropping electronics and attending medical school, but my personal circumstances changed and I had to remain employed. When my contract at RAF Brize Norton ended I noticed an opportunity to work in social care. Working in social care I have found to be extremely rewarding. In my 13 years, I have met many different characters and carried out many different care tasks. I have found that my background in the MoD has assisted me greatly in social care, I spent a lot of time working with and enforcing standards. As a result, I continue to look for high standards both in the Care Workers we employ and the care that we deliver. I decided to start my own care agency predominantly because of the standards of care in the companies I previously worked at. Since working in adult social care I have completed both Level 3 and Level 5 Diplomas in Health and Social Care. I was the Training Manager in the last company I worked for, in that position I completed Train the Trainer which enabled me to provide all in-house training. With Chamomile Care I will continue to deliver all Induction Training and annual updates, together with encouraging all of our staff to undertake external QCF training.
