My wife and I have been totally satisfied for the last 2 years. The management and staff undergo ongoing training sessions which is a vital part of the excellent service they provide.
The welfare and contentment of their staff also contribute to the first-class service offered.

Dealing with your company for almost 2 years, I have no complaints about them at all with my husband's care. All his carers are very respectful and careful with him and myself, also of our home. They clean up after themselves, arrive on time (as much as they can depending on traffic) and are willing
to stay if necessary. We would use your company for all day visits but to costly to use full time.

We have been with Westmorland for over three years and the experience has exceeded our expectations. The staff are so supportive and caring towards my wife and have become my second family. I have been supported as well, it can be lonely as a sole carer. The office team are great and nothing is too
much trouble for them. I am impressed by the way they help me with monitoring my wife's health and medication. We feel blessed.

I am very satisfied with my care. I have five regular carers on Monday-Friday, 1-hour Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and 2 hours on Wednesday and Friday. All of them are very friendly, adaptable and caring. I find it very helpful to have regular carers I can get to know. They cover shopping, cleaning and
going to appointments as I can't drive at the moment. Any changes in times are easily arranged.

My father-in-law has been cared for by Westmorland Care for almost two years. The care provided and support shown to ourselves is invaluable. My husband and I live a considerable distance away. Our father requires various large items of equipment due to his mobility. The staff member has successfully
arranged delivery and taken the time and effort to ensure there was space available for the items to be used. We cannot thank her enough and appreciate this is over and above the remit of care. She also continues to liaise with the NHS health professionals visiting our father and provides regular updates. The staff and the entire team are a credit to Westmorland Care, thank you for your support which allows our father to remain at home in his senior years.

I am very pleased that we have booked Westmorland Homecare for Mum. The carers' visits morning and evening have provided a vital level of stability for her medication and pain management. She is now eating much better and much happier. Mum clearly enjoys getting to know the carers and trusts them. The

All our carers are efficient, experienced and very well trained. They are kind treat us with respect and always go that extra mile. Myself and my partner have a regular team of carers who know us well. Westmorland Homecare always introduces us to any new members of the team before sending them to see
if we think we will feel comfortable and click with them and that they have the particular skills we are looking for, for example, being interested and good at cooking from scratch. It is always our choice as to which new carer joins our team. Westmoreland never sends carers we don't know and the office staff are helpful and respectful. I would recommend this home care company to anyone looking for home care.

My elderly mother-in-law has received care from Westmorland Homecare for over two years now and she looks forward to her daily visits from her team of carers. There is a lot to fit into a one-hour visit: toileting, food prep, positioning, massage, and wound care which is achieved along with a chat,
sorting out the satellite TV and finding the correct page in her diary for her daily notes.
Communication between carers, office staff and family members is good especially when illness happens - there is swift action with the relevant healthcare professionals being contacted. Westmorland have also helped to obtain extra equipment after arranging an Occupational Therapist assessment.
Westmorland have been fantastic in their support and care of my mother-in-law which has enabled her to remain in her own home. I would definitely recommend Westmorland Homecare to any family who is looking for care for their elderly relative.

We have been using Westmorland Homecare for a number of years now and the service received is always excellent. Mum looks forward to going to the regular afternoon get togethers and recently when I was away and needed to book extra visits in an evening , it was arranged without a problem. Mum has worked
for the CQQ in the past so is vey particular about the care she receives and would not use anyone else. We are so happy with all aspects of the service provided.

Westmorland Homecare have been amazing from day one! My son has 24-hour care from the company and he always has the same core team of very caring staff. He has complex needs and they are always carried out with professionalism, accuracy and skill. He is enabled to have an active social life in his local
community and gets plenty of fresh air and exercise. Communication between health care assistants, care coordinators, other staff and family is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I know my mum is very stubborn. I am concerned about her mobility. She has a membership card for using Toning Tables, I feel that Mum would benefit from this facility. Please, please would the support staff make more effort to get her to go out and take her for an outing. I took her, and it was fully
booked but there are other classes going on daily like 'chair low impact' classes.

Job Title: Care Manager

I have always had a passion for working in care and in 2019 after five years in the NHS working as part of an orthopaedic therapy team for Wrightington Hospital I moved to Arnside and joined the Westmorland Homecare Kendal & South Lakes Team as a Care Co-ordinator – Scheduler.


My journey with Westmorland Homecare has been truly exciting and I have really been made to feel part of the family. Not only have I become part of the team, but so has my one-year-old Cockapoo Lola – she is a great company in the office from time to time and is also a proud member of Westmorland Homecare!


Outside of my wonderful work life, I enjoy walking spending time with my family, and milking cows on our dairy farm!


I am so thrilled to have moved to our Lancaster branch looking after a very special team.


Seeing our wonderful organisation grow makes me so proud to work for Westmorland Homecare – I love my job!

Job Title: Senior Scheduling Coordinator

Hi! My name is Kate, I previously worked for a private ambulance transport service whilst studying for a Business Administration NVQ at Lancaster and Morecambe College, once I had completed this qualification, I progressed my knowledge and experience as an Ambulance Care Assistant. Following this I worked in a boutique hotel situated in the Langdale Valley for 2 and a half years, I then made the decision to pursue my career in the caring community.


I have always had an interest in the health sector, I studied Health and Social Care for about 4 years and Business Studies for 2 years. Whilst working in the hotel I studied for an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Health and Human Science at Kendal College, completing this course really encouraged me to follow my passion for looking after people and helping in any way that I could. I started working with Westmorland Homecare as a Homecare Assistant in February 2021. I thoroughly enjoyed my time as an HCA and spending time with my lovely clients, however, I have made the decision to progress my career in the office as a Care Coordinator.


I look forward to continuing to assist both clients and staff in any way that I can.

Job Title: Client Coordinator

I’ve spent many years working for two different GP practices in various roles, and working as an HCA for Spinal Homecare. For the past four years I’ve worked as a Coordinator/Clinical Supervisor for the Hospital Home Care team based at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. My time was split between the two roles, firstly coordinating staff across Bay to patients, some of whom were quite complex and who’ve recently been discharged home and secondly, I’d conduct staff supervision, updating mandatory training etc and generally being a contact for the staff out in the community.


Outside of work I enjoy spending time outdoors, preferably with anything equine and used to compete a lot when I had my own horse. And of course, I better mention spending time with my family! Very much look forward to getting to know our Westmorland Family.

Job Title: Administration & Operations Coordinator

I started working with Westmorland Homecare in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant in the Kendal & South Lakes offices and, whilst studying a BTEC Diploma in Business Administration, my career has progressed to the role of Care Coordinator.


I love the variety of my job and am very much looking forward to being part of the team in the new Westmorland Homecare Lancaster and Morecambe offices.


Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, going to music gigs and walking the fells and mountains in the Lake District.

Job Title: Recruitment Coordinator

I’m Rhianna and I am the Recruitment & Events Coordinator. I started working for Westmorland Homecare at the beginning of 2019. I’d had no previous care experience and immediately fell in love with the job. I started out as a Homecare Assistant, then became a Senior Homecare Assistant and it is now my job to find the right people to join our team.


Westmorland Homecare really feels like family, and I am so proud to be working for a company that really delivers on its promises and puts the clients and staff at the heart of everything they do.


Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my partner, family, and friends. I am often found in the kitchen cooking or baking or out in the garden looking after my plants, fruit & veggies.
