Caremark have been a constant for my mum since she started to need home care. The continuity of staff, professionalism and care from the team of carers, co-ordinating staff and management has been exceptional. Indeed without their concern and support she would never be able to stay in her own home and
for that I am forever grateful.

Caremark Newcastle arranged the care for my wife to help us organise Christmas shopping/days out by changing times to suit our needs. They were happy to accommodate being early in morning so we could go away to visit relatives.

I am carer and sister for my sister who has complex needs and is totally wheelchair bound. I have had many companies in to look after my sister over the years but it has never worked. I have been with this company for 1 year who are absolutely amazing from the manager to the coordinator and the staff
they have put in to care for my sister. The office staff are always there to answer any queries and help the best way they can which is the way it should be. The care staff they put in, you can tell have all had the best training, unlike previous companies I have been with. Just an amazing company all in all. So happy to be with this company.

My father really didn't want carers, he felt that they would be an intrusion in his life and in his home. However, a lady came to see him. She listened to his concerns and needs and put him at ease. The carers have been amazing, from the very outset, they worked with Dad to make sure he was comfortable
with them being in his home. They are kind, caring and thoughtful. Dad thinks the world of them as do I and we couldn't do without them. They give me so much peace of mind, so when I'm not with Dad, I know that he is fine and being well looked after. Caremark is an outstanding care provider, I can't rate them highly enough.

I have been with Caremark since September 2023, and I can say with all honesty that the company/staff go above and beyond to make sure the best care is being provided. Nothing is too much. The care coordinator whilst sorting the rota goes out of her way to make sure service users get the same carers
every week which makes us all feel relaxed.
The care staff/office staff/managers are so compassionate efficient happy and most importantly reliable.

My dad had support and assistance with personal care from Caremark following a stroke last year.
From the outset the carer was incredibly helpful in setting the package up, assessing my dad’s needs and providing carers who were the best fit for him. She was very responsive throughout the time that
Caremark were providing his care, undertaking regular assessments and meetings with my parents and myself. The carer was always happy to listen to any issues and take steps to address them.
The staff who helped my dad were all lovely lads, really personable, polite, helpful and a credit to Caremark. They were always cheerful and both my parents got on well with them all. Following some time in hospital earlier this year my dad has now moved into a residential facility. We were all sad that this meant that he wouldn’t have the lads helping him any longer.
I am extremely grateful to the whole team for the care and support that they provided to my dad during his time with Caremark, thank you.

Girls who help look after my grandma are lovely and very friendly, she is very happy with them. They are happy to help her with anything she needs and they also sit and chat with her, giving her a bit of company and are helping build her confidence back up.

This was the last time my dad was a customer. We had good care, but it was getting to the stage where he needed 24 hour care. Unfortunately, he had a fall early in the morning, but one of the staff came in at breakfast time and phoned for an ambulance.

We have used Caremark as a sitting service since January 2023 and continue to do so. Staff are polite and attentive to my mum's individual needs. They engage with her and involve her in bedside activities like games etc. but also recognise when she is less able to be involved as her condition is so
variable. Caremark has been great in providing continuity of care with the same staff visiting on most occasions. This has allowed mum to get to know them and feel comfortable and allows the carer to really get to know my mum, her likes and dislikes. They assist me when necessary in Mum's physical care. I have been very happy with the service provided. They are also responsive to my needs and have been flexible and accommodating where possible when I have needed to change sitting days.

The service Caremark has provided my family is exceptional. I was unsure about having carers in for my mum, but they are actually a joy and have allayed all my fears of this type of service. My mum's demeanour changes when they arrive, and she smiles and chats to them as if they are old friends. This
is a difficult time for my family, and especially my ninety-three-year-old father, but the support we have had, not only from the carers, but the management team as well is outstanding. Nothing is a problem for them. They are professional and compassionate, a team to be proud of.

The staff and management of Care Mark are professional and approachable. They have provided training to new staff to ensure they have the skills to care for my Mother who has complex health needs.
Any issue raised is acted on immediately and the manager shows excellent leadership skills. The staff
speak highly of her and feel well supported and I think this is reflected in the level of care they provide. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

The staff are cheerful, conversational and communicative. In our care, where the client has aphasia, conversation is important and good therapy. The staff are prompt in advising on possible or arising health problems. They cooperate very well with district nurses and other visiting NHS health operatives.
The client and partner are well satisfied with the service provided.
