Bringing me out of deep depression and helping me with medical appointments. Like consistent carers, smartly dressed in uniform. I feel that I am listened to, no job too much. They go the extra mile.

Whilst I am not a long user of Kingsway Care, I have no hesitation in recommending their service.
A Kingsway staff member calls on a regular appointment to provide a full bathing procedure.
I can confirm that they are always friendly, efficient and skillful carers being most concerned for my safety
and well-being. They always arrive promptly at the appointments times and their reliability is assured.

My mum is a fiercely independent 94-year-old who is, like many in her generation, proudly stoical and unwilling to admit she needs help of any kind. However, after a more serious fall and two weeks in residential respite care in January 2022, she was persuaded to accept some help with some weekly tasks
- shopping, cleaning, laundry and making a meal. Kingsway was recommended and after our initial, very successful meeting Mum was matched with 2 carers. At first, she was a little perplexed that they were both men! But one of them she quickly grew to enjoy, looked forward to his visits and was always very animated and full of stories when I saw her after he'd been there. Since then she has had 2 other carers - both of whom she also absolutely loves. They are sensitive to her needs, manage her idiosyncracies and make her delicious meals that really uplift her spirits. Having this service has made a huge difference to all of us in the family - but most importantly for mum. Thank you all.

My mum lives in sheltered accommodation and a few months ago it became apparent that she needed additional help with daily tasks, including meal preparation, personal care and medication.
The Kingsway team took the time to speak to Mum and I about the support she required and detailed it all in her
care plan, which was shared with us both.
Mum has had 1 main caregiver, with others supporting over weekends and I cannot fault any of them. Not only have they supported Mum but they’ve also been there for a friendly chat too.
Just recently, I have been isolating with covid and therefore have been unable to support my mum with medication.
Kingsway were very flexible and arranged for additional visits as well as carrying out extra tasks that were above and beyond their remit.
I feel so lucky that they were on hand to help and it gave me complete peace of mind that Mum had all the support she needed when I couldn’t be there.
I can’t fault the service and care we have received.

Reply from Olly Carter, Managing Director at Kingsway Care (Brighton, Hove & Worthing)

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. We will be sure to share your feedback with our team and it will mean the world to them. We really appreciate supporting your mum and enjoy our visits. We are also so pleased that you are getting peace of mind too. Thank you again.

The support and help provided by Kingsway Care has been outstanding. Our family was looking to get my mum out of hospital urgently. Kingsway Care understood the issues and were there to help at very short notice indeed. The head of operations at Kingsway Care was outstanding. I spoke to her on a Wednesday,
was having a video call with her and a fantastic live in carer on the Thursday and Mum came out of hospital on the Friday. The head of operations was there throughout making this all work, liaising with the hospital discharge team and putting together a care plan for Mum. The carer provided through Kingsway was fantastic, exactly the person Mum needed to see her on her way to recovery. Kingsway Care comes with wholehearted recommendations from me, my mum and our family.

Wow, what a fantastic company Kingsway Care (Sussex) are. I live in Bristol and work within social care. My elderly father lives in Sussex and requires extra help (cleaning, ironing, general support). I contacted Kingsway Care after looking for agencies on the internet. I cannot recommend this company
enough, they go above and beyond their normal duty. My dad has been given a new lease of life. He talks about his carer as a friend and she really is his guardian angel. All the staff are so friendly and polite. I feel very lucky to have found such a caring company. Both my dad and his carer(s) clicked immediately. They treat my dad with the dignity and respect he deserves and I cannot thank Kingsway Care enough.

The carer is a really kind person and she worked really hard when she stayed with me as my live-in carer. She showed lots of initiative and just saw what needed to be done without me having to ask. She is a good cook and made a delicious bolognese and she was a lot of fun - she can do the splits! Very
impressive! It was good to have her as a respite carer and I would be happy to have her return.

I am the wife and housemate/carer of a service user, who is a very satisfied daily client of Kingsway Care. I want to give my personal reasons for recommending Kingsway. There are three groups of reasons: firstly, the immense improvements brought to my husband's ability to cope with the practical problems
of living with his considerable disability; secondly, the great benefits to me of seeing him thereby happier and positive; thirdly, the spin-off reduction in my own load - the enthusiastic willingness of Kingsway carers to fill in gaps in my husband's contracted half-hours by doing domestic tasks (hoovering, dusting, lightbulb replacement, bits of gardening etc) that I either physically cannot do or which take more energy than I am these days able to command, all add up to my very strong recommendation of Kingsway Care.

I am very impressed with Kingsway Care, other agencies do not care enough about clients and this agency go above and beyond to help individuals out and always put us first. Also very impressed they managed to provide myself care last minute on Easter Sunday when no other companies would help me out.
I experienced struggles with another agency and my father. Kingsway care stepped in to provide help again. Thank you for everything. Has restored my faith in there being amazing care agencies in the community, 5 stars.

I am 74 years old with long term Multiple Sclerosis.
Having tried various other care agencies, I am delighted with absolutely everything about Kingsway Care and would recommend them in the highest possible terms to anyone who needs personal care.
The Kingsway carers all provide an ideal balance of
competence, efficiency, kindness and desire to help. Furthermore, their unfailing great punctuality (much better than all the other agencies I have tried) helps me plan and manage my days.
I book 30-minute sessions with Kingsway. I am delighted to find that when my personal caring takes less than thirty minutes, which is usually so, the carer is *always* happy to do house-maintenance things to fill up the 30-minute slot, they have done carpet vacuuming, lightbulb exchanging, garden weeding etc.
What great value Kingsway is.

2020 was not a good year for my 99-year-old father. After 72 years of marriage his wife died of Covid in April, and he, having contracted Covid too, was not able to go to her burial. When he came out of hospital he was mentally and physically extremely weak, we all thought he wouldn't pull through.
I was so grateful when Kingsway Care was able to provide the physical and mental support he needed, by being there for him and listening to him. He regained his strength to finish the book his was writing about his life, and the fact that his carer took such an interest changed his whole world. I'm constantly updated by Kingsway Care, I feel I don't have to worry and chase up everything anymore. They are helping him to remain mobile, he has now regained his strength, and is always looking forward to his carer's visit! Such an amazing change, thank you Kingsway!

Kingsway Care have been more flexible and caring then any other care provider I have worked with in the past. They concentrate not just on the care but the whole picture. The staff are great and have really looked after me during lockdown and I really look forward to their visits. I love the fact they
are local and the manager lives 5 minutes away from me and regularly visits to provide support and advice.
