We have been using PS we care since my mom came out of hospital last year and the team of carers that are supporting my mom are caring, empathetic and professional. As a Registered Nurse myself I wanted a company that cared for both clients and staff and this company does that .All the carers I've
met are happy in there work, it is never just a job to them and after initially not wanting carers, my mom really looks forward to there visits and the help , support and companionship they give her . Well done manager and team, you are all brilliant x

In 2006 I walked into the world of caring for vulnerable adults, in my 18 years of caring experience and worked hard to achieve my level 3 & 5 Health and social care and when going into management side of care it was clear for me to see that it was the office side of care that lacked in strong areas. I did feel lucky in my management role as I was starting a new area by myself. I worked hard and found good working staff that loved to care and had wonderful service user to care for. In my history of being a carer I felt I wasn’t valued or appreciated in the hard work I did and the extra shifts that I did. Being a carer took over my life and I felt that no one noticed my hard work. My promise to myself was to ensure when I succeed to management level I will ensure the carers are valued and appreciated. The hardest part as a carer is not being listened to by management. I learnt as a manager that respecting your staff and assuring them that you are there to support gives you a great team ethic.
Now owning P.S We Care for five years I ensure my time is focused on my staff and our service users
