Tim Corry is passionate about helping the community and feels privileged to do that here in Farnham, where he lives with his wife Beth, and two children.
He served 12 and half years in the Royal Air Force, where he was an Officer and Chinook pilot. During his tenure, he learnt a great deal about determination and the tenacity to succeed. His service in the RAF took him around the world, including multiple operational tours. It is this experience, as well as teaching in South America after University that embedded his strong sense of community. When he finished in the RAF, he took the natural career path to become a commercial airline pilot.
Tim came to Home Care during the pandemic through re-engaging as a volunteer in the local community. He took time to re-assess his career and realised that the raison d’etre of service is embedded in his DNA and is his motivation. It’s why he and Alex decided to take the step to become franchise co-owners of the Guardian Angel Carers Farnham branch.
He also reflected on his elderly relatives’ care, including his grandfather, who was fiercely independent and able to remain in his own home until he was 96. It highlighted how well-being and quality of life are so important and led to him wanting to support other people to maintain this.
Tim is versatile, determined and organised – bringing both empathy and consideration to all he does. As he sets out on this new journey, he is looking forward to using all his skills to give-back, feel rewarded, and make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Alex has lived and worked near Farnham for 17 years. He loves it here with his wife Alison, his two boys Guy and Max and their three dogs. He enjoys spending time kickboxing, playing football with his sons, walking the dogs in the countryside and tinkering with cars.
He served in the Royal Air Force for 18 years, predominantly from RAF Odiham. Alex was deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan on operational tours during his service. He’s proud to have been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Force Cross for leadership in the air.
Leadership is something that Alex has gained recognition for, commanding a Squadron during his time in the RAF. Although not a Squadron, he is hugely looking forward to working with the Farnham Home Care branch team to inspire and serve the community. His ethos and communication skills will be a great addition, alongside his rapid decision-making skills, and excellent sense of prioritisation across multiple business areas.
A people person, Alex strongly believes in a client-centred approach to Home Care for a fulfilling, and happy life with care. He also sees that families are finding they can’t care for loved ones as much as they want in today’s busy world and society. To help, he views technology as not just an enabler for safety and efficiency but a way to improve the family links – to ensure the family can be remotely involved in their loved ones care.
Alex’s strong sense of community is clear, and co-owning Guardian Angel Carers home care Farnham branch, will allow him to give back and continue to serve by its side.

As Deputy Director, I oversee the daily operations for all the branches to ensure our goals are met with both our care teams as well as our clients. I am also the Head of Recruitment & HR, supporting the Recruitment Officer to ensure all our prospective carers undergo a thorough recruitment process and maintain our values and have what it takes to care for our lovely clients.

I assist The Head of Recruitment & HR with all onboarding processes, helping new carers with their onboarding journey when joining GAC from the start. I manage job applications, references, interviews and all follow-up tasks involving recruiting the right carers for our clients and care teams in the community.

As the Branch Manager of Farnham, I oversee all aspects of the daily running of the domiciliary care provided. I liaise with carers and clients to ensure a smooth operation is carried 24/7 to positively maintain both carer and client satisfaction through continuous support. I also lead in resolving and escalating concerns, requests, and emergency situations - always acting in the best interest of our clients and carers to provide safety and uphold our high standard of care provided.

My role is the Live-in Care Manager. I manage the live-in carers and their care packages, as well as overnight care and adhoc packages. I organise and coordinate introductions, handovers, and carer schedules. I am the carers and clients first point of contract; ensuring quality care is provided. I monitor the daily running of the live-in and overnight care; including compliance, carer/client communications, and liaising with senior carers and required healthcare professionals.

I work closely with all the branches to ensure we are compliant with everything we do. I have been in the care industry for 10 years and started my journey as a care assistant. Within my job, I am responsible for the medication of our clients and work closely with our branch managers to ensure any adjustments to our client’s care are followed up with the correct paperwork, etc. I produce personalised risk assessments for clients with complex needs and ensure we provide a holistic, multi-agency approach to our care. My role also ensures we are compliant with client reviews, training, and medication administration.

As the Senior Care Co-Ordinator I assist with both the short-term and long-term running of hourly care, providing continuous support for other Care Coordinators and overseeing all schedules. I coordinate the short and long term schedules for our clients and carers, maintaining continuity of care; reporting back to the Branch Manager. I encourage and monitor the constant flow of communication between our clients and carers; upholding the personal aspect we provide. I also manage emergency absences, carer/client requests and preferences, support the recruitment team with the new carer onboarding process, and always look at the bigger picture to avoid any problems from occurring.

I complete along with Tina and Maureen, new client assessments. I go out and meet with prospective new clients and their loved ones to compile a plan of their care needs and how they would like to receive support and care. I ensure an efficient client onboarding process from start to finish; I also help with the 6 monthly assessment reviews of our client’s care packages to check if there have been any changes to their care needs and ensure that they are happy with our care.

I provide support and guidance to both the Team Leaders and carers within a range of areas, ensuring everyone is happy, confident and compliment in their roles. I work closely with the Branch Manager to assist in communicating and actioning updates and changes for all aspects of care provided by and to our carers and clients. I help in completing MDT referrals and liaise with family members to ensure best quality of care is being provided at all times. I also assist with medication management and manual handling training we provide internally.
