Before joining the team, care providers undergo a robust recruitment process to ensure that they are skilled and able to work safely with the clients. This is achieved through the interview process and the criminal history checks (Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks) and references. The carers that are selected are those who demonstrate that they are in the caring field because they genuinely care.

The staff treat my wife with respect and dignity. Her Alzheimer's is advanced now and doesn't talk much but they still talk to her like she would and try to join her in conversation. They tell her what they're going to do so nothing is a surprise. The manager always sends the same carers, which is very
helpful at this stage.

My dad's first experience of regular care support; he is very happy with Highlands Care support. Carers are friendly, helpful, thoughtful, respectful and kind. The company took the trouble to assign male cares to my dad for personal care.

The care and support that my parents receive is first-class. Their carer is very kind, considerate and caring and this is also reflected when other members of the team cover due to holidays.
My parents are very happy with the care they are getting and I feel reassured that they are being well looked
after and are safe and secure when they are being cared for.

The carer is kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and provides outstanding support. My mother looks forward to her visit and always says how much she has enjoyed the experience. I was impressed by the time and effort spent getting to know my mother and making sure her needs were understood.

The family have been very impressed and grateful for the excellent care we have received for our father.
All of the team that are supporting my father especially the primary carer have been exceptional, truly going above and beyond, whilst at the same time dealing with our mother and her dog in a

Many thanks to you and everybody at Highlands Care for the care that you gave my mother in the final months of her life. Without your help, it would not have been possible for her to stay at home for as long as she did. She was always treated with the utmost dignity and respect and consequently grew

A particular member of staff is an angel. I have never met anyone quite like her, empathetic, kind and utterly trustworthy. I needed emergency assistance with the care of my mother who has vascular dementia. Thanks to the member of staff in our hour of need, the safety, health and above all dignity
of Mum were not only preserved but totally safeguarded in the nicest possible way. I cannot imagine what would have happened without her. I cannot recommend her more highly. Anyone else who may need Highlands care help in the future can relax completely confident that their loved one is in the best possible hands.
