Having been dropped by our previous care agency at short notice I urgently needed to engage a new company, mainly to continue the care my wife receives but also to help keep me in a good place and able to care for the rest of the day. Blossom was thoroughly professional in the set-up process and I was
happy to commence in January 2022. Six weeks later and I am pleased to report that Blossom has been everything I could wish for. The team all genuinely care for my wife and I am confident to leave her in their care whilst I leave the house for shopping etc. We have discussed the possibility of them taking my wife out for walks with our dog when the weather improves and again, I am happy and confident this will take place safely.
I never thought I would need support in looking after my wife but as her dementia progressed I had to call for help and I couldn't be more satisfied with the care that Blossom is providing and would recommend them to others.

Blossom helped me to care for my mother in the last few months of her life when her health deteriorated to the extent that she needed much more care than I was qualified for. The office manager and her team quickly established a good relationship with her and they were all a great support to the whole
family in my mother's last few months. I cannot recommend them too highly.

We have been using Blossom Home Care for our great aunt since March 2021. The care provided is high quality and personalised. The care is delivered with empathy by the carers without exception and with consideration for the whole family. The owner is always willing to consider any changes to the plan.
We have had very few queries but if they arise they are swiftly dealt with. We have sometimes had to request additional care at fairly short notice and this has been accommodated. Having been sole carer of our aunt for some time I was very nervous about taking on a care company but I didn't need to worry. I am now confident that our aunt will be taken care of in my absence. I arrive on an evening after the call and find her happy and well looked after. The carers have alerted me to potential health changes which I wouldn't have noticed and do genuinely care about her. I would recommend this care facility to other families.

Absolute lifesavers. The care and companionship they provide is five stars. Could not do without them and my mum loves her daily visits not to mention the lovely meals she is made. If you are looking for home care look no further than Blossom.

Blossom has been supporting my 92-year-old Mother for more than six months now and they have been an absolute lifesaver. From the first contact with the owner on the phone it was obvious we had finally found a company who would be able to support our needs with compassion and professionalism. When
we met the office manager we knew we had found our people and they have been nothing short of wonderful ever since. The girls who look after Mum are friends to her as well as supporting her every need and she is so fond of her longest standing carers. They know exactly how she likes things done and go above and beyond, doing extra little things that I notice all the time. I really can’t imagine how we would manage without Blossom and can wholeheartedly recommend their services.

I am so very grateful for the outstanding care provided to my mother at every visit from Blossom Home Care (Teesdale) which is enabling her to remain in her own home, an environment that she loves.
All the staff are so professional, caring and friendly and Mum looks forward to every visit.

Each carer who has attended has been friendly, very helpful and willing to do anything that has been asked of them. They have all encouraged my independence and have so with regard to my dignity. Every carer has been efficient and has ensured that my needs come first.

Blossom Homecare has been caring for my Mother for 3 weeks now and I want to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent care they’re providing. I am so pleased we found this care company, all the carers are compassionate, caring and treat my mother with the dignity and respect she deserves. From
the onset the support from the manager has been tremendous, she has provided information and has ensured that my Mother’s needs are fully met. My motto is always to treat others as you would want to be treated yourself and they do exactly that.

Blossom care provided personal and emotional care to both my husband and myself, at a difficult time. The carers were punctual, proficient and above all empathetic. The managers kept me informed and alerted professionals when required. Their input was invaluable. As we live in a remote area in the
upper dales the carers battled truly inclement weather to get here. Words can't express my gratitude. I would highly recommend this service, service being inappropriate as these are people who care.

Liz, who also owns a marketing agency, first met John and Fiona Leggott (Blossom Home Care’s founders), back in 2015 when Blossom was first established. The Blossom brand was borne out of those initial discussions. Liz has worked with Blossom since then and knows the Blossom brand well. Liz has the business and marketing skills needed to develop Blossom Home Care Durham as a high-quality home care service. Liz believes in what Blossom stands for and the ethos and values behind the care that is delivered.
