Hi, my name is Karen and I am the Area Manager of Alcedo Care Wigan. I started with Alcedo Care in 2019 and I have loved every minute of it!

I started as a Home Care Worker in February 2019 and gradually progressed to Area Manager. I am very passionate about providing a high-quality care service and I love my job!

Hi, my name is Stacey and I am the Deputy Manager for Alcedo Care Wigan. I joined Alcedo in January 2021 as a homecare worker and I fell in love with the job. Before this, I was a deputy manager in retail for 8 years. With Alcedo care, I have been able to progress onto Field Care Supervisor and then Care Co-Ordinator and I have been able to do various courses to better my education. I am looking forward to completing my NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care. I am continuing to grow with my Alcedo Care family and have recently been given the opportunity to progress into a Deputy Manager position. I love helping colleagues to reach their goals and customers with their everyday lives!

It is my role to ensure that both customers and staff members are happy by ensuring that customers are getting their correct staff and times. I also ensure that staff members' rotas are correct and complete. I am responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the office and ensuring we are following all CQC Guidelines.

I have experience in Health Care and Retail. My job before Alcedo Care was as a manager in a very busy nationwide retailer.

I currently Co-Ordinate all care calls with my assistant Co-Ordinator. To ensure both staff and customers receive the correct visits at the correct times.

My name is Louise and I am the Care Assessor for Alcedo Care Wigan. As a Care Assessor, my role is to prepare and adapt person-centred care plans for our clients and their families. These might be produced with the client alone, but sometimes might also involve other healthcare professionals. It is my responsibility to ensure our clients have the maximum amount of input possible into the care plan, and that it takes into account not only their personal and medical information, but their likes, dislikes, and what we can do to enrich their life and support independence.

Hi, my name is Vicky, and I am the Field Care Supervisor at Alcedo Care Wigan. I have worked in the care sector for over 20 years.

I have worked in the care industry for 20+ years. I started with learning disabilities and I soon became a home manager. I started work in Domiciliary care about 10 years ago fulfilling all roles.

I started working for Alcedo 2 years ago as a carer, working in all areas and getting to know our customers and staff.

I earned a promotion to Field Care Supervisor where I developed an interest in complex care and put myself forward for further opportunities and was promoted to Lead Field Care Supervisor earlier this year.

I enjoy my role at Alcedo and have a great relationship with our team.

My name is Nicole and I’m the recruiter at Alcedo Care Chester. I work to fill our care jobs in Chester and the surrounding areas, and I’m the first person you’ll be in touch with when you look to join Alcedo Care as a Chester care assistant or support worker.

I joined Alcedo Care in 2023 after making a career move from Adult Nursing within the district. I have previous experience in recruitment and I believe that using all of my nursing skills will enhance my ability to recruit candidates who can provide Alcedo Care clients in the community with the high standards of quality care we strive for. I am 26 and a mother to two beautiful children. Outside of work, I spend my days on family days, socialising with friends and my fiancé of 10 years.

My name is Danielle and I am the Field Care Supervisor at Alcedo Care Wigan. My role includes carrying out spot-checks and supervisions with carers, making sure they are providing the high standards of care we strive for. I support the development and well-being of carers, making sure they are happy in their work and our clients are happy with the care delivered.
