Care staff are attentive, professional, capable and are meeting our care needs in the first 6 weeks of using (Radfield) them. Rota diarying has been inaccurate 3 times, carers turned up on the wrong day once, administration of rota hasn't been good, but we understand it is a complex and juggling situation!
It has worked out despite this.

I am very happy with my carer. I am reasonably mobile but I have a walker for outdoors. My carer takes me out for walks in the summer months to parks etc. which I enjoy. I also enjoy our chats over a cup of coffee. She also helps with household tasks.

Excellent care. So supportive, regular updates. I'm very happy with the care mum received. The company has a genuine concern for the client and wants to support as much as they can. Visits were on time and care plans are followed. One carer had a different approach that mum didn't respond well to, so
a change of carer was made immediately.

I am very pleased with our experience of your care. The carers are on time and work quickly and carefully. They always ask if there is anything they can do for me before they leave.
I am having a short holiday and the staff have been accommodating about coming for extra hours at a time to suit my husband.
It is such a relief to go away and know that he will be well supported in my absence.

The Radfield staff I have met are all pleasant and friendly. They are obviously well trained for the job which they carry out quickly and unobtrusively with respect for my partner, the client.
Office staff let us know quickly if there are any problems which usually are caused by weather conditions
or problems with traffic.

Mum is so happy to see the caregiver each morning, puts a smile on her face all day! They are friendly, cheery, professional, and caring, down to the smallest of details. In addition, the management and schedules are brilliant as well, they listen and check out the information you give and it feels
like a company that cares about their staff as well as their clients. We have regular caregivers and the times are flexible to call. I feel that I can rely on Radfield and share the same ethos so it works perfectly. I would recommend Radfield as a care provider.

The service is generally satisfactory.
Obviously, some carers are better than others and some suit you better than others. High staff turnover does not help.

Dad has 2 visits per day for the provision of breakfast and evening meals and to administer medication. Staff will contact us if they have any concerns.
We are all very happy with the service provided by all staff who visit and also when we need to contact the office.
It's reassuring to know that
Dad is being looked after in addition to what the family provides.

The Radfield team are very people centred - providing care that responds to individual preferences, needs and values.
My father has found all of the carers to be friendly and helpful and enjoys their visits.
It feels like I'm talking to family when I phone the office and nothing is too much trouble.
It's beyond reassuring to have them.

We had a waking night from February 19th to the beginning of May. The management were very helpful and made sure we met all the carers before they came to sit. The three staff who helped us were all lovely, kind, respectful to my husband and supportive of me. Unfortunately, our situation worsened and
a care home was required. I would recommend this company to anybody.

I had Radfield start coming to look after my nan after she was discharged from hospital in February 2023. She absolutely loved them, they were brilliant with her and always accommodating with her ever-changing needs. She required district nursing care for several months so we left Radfield during this
time, now she has recovered we have Radfield back and she is happier than ever. The staff that look after her are lovely and always communicate any issues or concerns, the management is also fabulous and I can't thank them enough for helping me look after my nan.

Outstanding in all respects! My mother had a hip replacement operation and we knew she would need some post-operative support at home. We contacted Radfield and although it was a last-minute request (having been badly let down at the last minute by another care provider) they approached the situation
pragmatically and professionally by trying to find practical solutions. Initially, my mother was reticent about having people visit her at home, but everyone has been very friendly and polite and treated her with dignity. Indeed, she has positively enjoyed the visits and although my mother no longer requires help she wants to maintain some contact with the team.
Cost was not an overriding factor when we contracted with Radfield: but when we found out the charges we were very pleasantly surprised. Radfield's fees are lower than those of other care providers we had approached.
My mother cannot fault Radfield and that's what is really important.

Incredible care from such wonderfully kind, empathetic, helpful, friendly, honest, trustworthy and caring people that we have had the very good fortune to meet and work with. Thank you so much for making Mum's final year of her life more comfortable and happy. Mum unfortunately passed away on the 13th
of March 2024, completely at peace and in her own home, a promise myself (son) and my sister made to her and our late Dad. There is not enough space to write about how we feel about what they have done and the praise we wish to bestow on this organisation. Superbly run by sourcing the very best personalities and characters as carers, that’s what gives Radfield a position way above that of any care company I have known of. If you are looking for the very best care for your loved one, we would give Radfield Chester, the highest of recommendations for delivering the Gold standard of care that they provided for our mum. Great job. Well done, keep doing what you’re doing, Thank you again.

I am really pleased with the service I have received while recovering from problems after left hip replacement and a nasty fall. Every member of the team were kind and helpful and always went the extra mile. I was very well cared for. The management team were also very helpful and responded very quickly

Julie, co-owner and director of Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port before living overseas for 10 years, worked for ‘Diageo’ for 15 years as an account administrator. She also was a team leader in departmental projects and delivered training when the department migrated overseas. Julie started her own Childcare business which she ran for 4 years gaining childcare qualifications before going overseas.


Whilst working overseas Julie worked in Dubai English Speaking College as a Food and Nutrition Technician and Kitchen Manager, gaining many qualifications in food & nutrition, first aid and fire marshal.


Julie explains, “We came back to Chester, my husband’s hometown, to settle back into English life and to get involved in the community around us. We both knew that we wanted to give something back to the community we love and get involved in making people's lives better.”
