The Review Score of 9.3 (9.327) out of 10 for Homelium Dorset is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 4.727 for Homelium Dorset is calculated as follows: ( (24 Excellents x 5) + (9 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 33 Ratings = 4.727
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Homelium Dorset is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 = 4.6
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Operations Director
My journey into the world of care started with late-night shifts for my mother-in-law’s care home, all while my husband was on duty in Bosnia. It was a unique introduction that sparked my passion for personalized care!
What I love most about my role is the opportunity to tailor care for each client and connect them with the perfect team of carers. One memorable accomplishment that stands out is making sure a desperate family could reunite with their dad for Christmas. On Christmas Eve, I went above and beyond, conducting a care assessment in the hospital and checking out the home environment, ensuring a heartwarming Christmas Eve reunion. The smiles on their faces made it all worthwhile.
A little bit about me; I may not have a quirky skill, but I sure can sing! I was an alto in the Military Wives Choir. Singing is my stress-buster and my way of bringing joy to others! My go-to karaoke song would be “Fairytale of New York”- my husband popped the question on a horse-drawn carriage in Central Park- a real-life fairytale in the city that never sleeps!
