After losing my mum in June 2022, Radfield carers started helping look after my father. At an extremely difficult time, they were kind, supportive and most of all professional. I honestly couldn't have coped
without their sensitive advice. The lady in head office went out of her way to accommodate
my requested schedule. All the members of the care team treated my dad with respect and consideration and saw him as person rather than just a client.
Thank you for your help. I couldn't have looked after my dad without you!

We have been using this care provider since 16th May 2022. The carers always do their very best to give a good standard of care and obliging to give extra care on more days when needed.

What can I say over and above all of the experiences were first class. I can qualify this statement by comparing Radfield to other care providers we have used in the past. After the very first week I was fully confident that our mum was been given the sort of top-quality care that one would wish for.
Our grateful thanks to all concerned at Radfield Homes.

My husband has Lewy Bodies Dementia and Parkinson's. Diagnosed four years ago I came to the unwanted decision that I needed help to look after him at home, to cope with the many problems his diseases have brought to us. In Spring 2022 I contacted Radfield Home Care York with feelings of trepidation,
guilt, self loathing for no longer being able to cope and with a prayer that I was contacting the right care provider. From the moment my call was answered I felt a huge sigh of relief, my concerns were taken away and I was fully reassured that I had chosen the right provider for my loved one's care. My husband has consistently received the most marvellous and professional care in every way and I have received the space and calm I have needed to re-gather my resources during his care periods, in the knowledge that he was happy and being well looked after. We cannot thank the team enough for their help, thoughtfulness and unerring support. Truly 5* in all ways and such lovely people too.

My dad is 96 years of age and has mobility and other age related problems. I have found Radfield Home Care excellent in communicating all aspects of the care of my dad. More importantly, my dad is very happy with the care he is being given. He says nothing is too much trouble for them and cannot praise
his carers enough. I am very relieved as he was very unhappy with the previous care he received. It is amazing how well he now looks now he is happy and comfortable with his carers.

After my grandma's recent hospital stay our family decided that it was time to get her some assistance in her home so that she could continue to live as independently as she wanted to, but have the care she needed.
After a few failed attempts to get care into place we turned to Radfield Home Care
and they were able to set something up which enabled my grandma to get out of the hospital and home extremely quickly.
They have been an amazing help towards my grandma's independence and also eased my parents' concerns.
My parents were recently away on a much needed holiday and the team went above and beyond to make sure my grandma was taken care of so that everyone involved could feel happy.
Couldn't recommend them enough.

Radfield Home Care responded quickly to my request for care in our home for my husband, who suffers from Parkinson’s and Dementia. The Director and Care Manager took a professional attitude towards my enquiry. The carers have been respectful of our home and me, always keen to help as I wished. Timekeeping
has been exceptional. I would be contacted about any delays - there has been only one and that was only a delay of minutes. I think the ethos of the company comes from the caring attitude of management

We have recently started having carers to help us care for a dementia sufferer. We have been very pleased with the standard of carers, they arrive at the arranged time and are very efficient and friendly. The organisation of the agency is very good and well managed. We would highly recommend them.

Radfield York saved our “bacon”. We required further care, and Radfield are very professional, listen to our needs, suggested the right team for appropriate care for Parkinson’s with Lewey body dementia. The team are very patient, empathetic, and attentive.
Radfield have been very flexible and supportive
of our needs. We would have really been stuck without their support.

My mother suffers with Dementia. She has difficulty knowing what time of day it is, remembering things within the same sentence, gets confused, and hallucinates. She also suffers from Anosognosia (unaware of her own mental health condition) which makes her very difficult to care for.
I contacted
Radfield and organised help twice a week for my mother and also my father who struggles with looking after her. It has been a godsend, which has taken a weight off my shoulders, gives my father a well earned break and my mother has formed a genuine bond with her carer who takes her shopping, out for coffee and cake, and helps with preparing food.
I know that the future is uncertain and these care visits will increase but I am very grateful that I have found Radfield, the Owner, and the Manager and feel confident that my parents will be cared for, in their home, for as long as is necessary which is very much my parent's wishes.
I can highly recommend Radfield Home Care York, Thirsk, and Rydale.
