The care provided by Hygea is of exceptional quality - more than outstanding. Our mother's needs and wishes have all been lovingly met with considerable empathy, compassion and patience. The carers are very experienced and the support and care provided by Hygea has been very comprehensive, including
liaison with Mum's GP surgery and other practitioners, and supporting the acquisition of relevant equipment. Care visits have always been on time and detailed records of each care visit are shared with family. Hygea have been very proactive in identifying anything extra that would benefit our mother and we have been kept fully informed of our mother's condition and any concerns. We are so grateful to the company's managers and all the lovely carers for the truly heartfelt care that has been provided for our mother.

I would highly recommend Hygea Homecare. Only been a client since March 2022 and they have given 100%. Can contact them anytime if any questions or concerns arise. They help with all needs, my mum wasn’t too keen to start with, but now she looks forward to their visit.

Dad is very happy to have the carers come in to see him and make sure he is ok. Right from the initial assessment, we have found the staff very professional and attentive to both my dad and my needs as a concerned relative. Communication has always been very good, friendly and helpful and the billing
system is very clear with invoices which show a breakdown of all the visits. We like the fact that Hygea Homecare employs a small group of carers so that there are not too many faces for Dad to get used to.
We would definitely recommend Hygea Homecare to friends or family.

Mum in law is very happy with the level of care she is receiving and finds the carers very friendly and helpful. Hygea Homecare have been very good at communicating with us. The invoice we receive is very detailed giving a list of every single task carried out by the carer.

A well-organized group of very professional caregivers who took the time to recognize all of the wants and needs that my elderly aunt required so she could remain living in her own home as long as was medically possible.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Hygiene always a priority.
Communication
was exemplary keeping, not just my aunt, but everyone else involved with her care up to date with everything that was happening and always explaining clearly any issues or concerns that they had.
It was a huge weight off my shoulders just knowing that there were people there looking after my aunt that actually cared.

Outstanding!
That’s all I can say really.
From the depths of despair to immeasurable relief with one phone call.
After several attempts to secure some care for my father came to nothing, I was recommended to call Hygea Homecare. I spoke to the manager and she just took control of the whole situation
from that point forward.
They have delivered an exceptional service ever since. I cannot thank the team enough for the care and confidence given to my father and indeed to the rest of us.

The team at Hygea Homecare have been looking after my dad since he was discharged from hospital. The whole team are amazing, nothing has been too much trouble. Even when requirements have changed since his discharge, they’ve ensured that the time and attention they’ve given to my dad is exactly what
we’ve needed when we’ve needed it. They give us, the family, every confidence that my dad is safe in their hands, and us reassurance when we need an arm around us too. I can’t speak highly enough of everyone at Hygea. If you’re looking for a care company who really care there’s no other company to choose than Hygea.

After having a very nasty fall, I was very anxious about needing personal care at home.
From day one I felt at ease and comfortable with both care staff who were looking after me.

The care my Mum has received from Hygea Homecare has been exemplary. The staff are very supportive, caring, professional, friendly and hard working. The ladies caring for my Mum have made sure her dignity has always been respected and have actively encouraged her to undertake tasks independently where
possible, to aid her recovery and rebuild her confidence. They have even gone as far as collecting equipment that my Mum needs, that would otherwise have taken days to arrive. We would not have managed without the support of Hygea , we cannot thank them enough for their exceptional care and have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

After Mum had a fall on New Years Eve, with the help and support from the team at Hygea Homecare, Mum was able to stay in her own home with daily visits from the team which gave us peace of mind. The manager was able to sort out mobility aids at short notice to help Mum get about the house as well as
sorting out ways to consolidate daily routines to make Mums life a little easier. The manager went above and beyond her duty of care and recommended additional support from the council due to Mums reduced mobility. I would highly recommend the service and the team at Hygea and can’t thank them all enough for their care and commitment.

As a family, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hygea Homecare.
All of the staff are professional, friendly, hard-working, punctual, and provide outstanding care and support.


The staff always go the extra mile for example chasing up the GP surgery or referrals previously made and have even collected

prescriptions en route.


All of the staff have an excellent therapeutic relationship with my dad and promote his independence and dignity. They interact with him really well and have made a difficult situation so much more bearable for us all.

Joanne Godsall

With over 20 years of experience in the Health and Social Care sector, Joanne has been able to bring her knowledge and expertise to Hygea Homecare.

Joanne worked for the NHS for 12 years within the Community Rehabilitation, Falls and Bone Health Team, as an Assistant Practitioner, working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Community Matrons to name but a few.

She also has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Domiciliary Care that she acquired from being a Community Carer in the early years and then from Management Roles, in Social Services and the Private Sector. Joanne has a very hands-on approach to her work and is often seen out in the field with her team.

Joanne is passionate about providing the best quality of care and is committed to ensuring that all staff are trained to the highest standards. Joanne has made it her mission to ensure that all staff are treated with respect and dignity and provided with the best opportunities to succeed.

Adam Godsall is the Chief Operations Officer at Hygea Homecare. With over 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector, he has worked in adult and children's services, providing care with dignity, compassion, and empathy.


Adam began his career in healthcare in 2005, working for Derbyshire Social Services to provide care to adults over 18. He then moved into the learning disabilities sector, working with younger adults with disabilities such as Autism, Aspergers, and Down syndrome. Adam returned to Adult social care and worked at the End of Life specialist care team in Nottinghamshire.


Since joining Hygea Homecare, Adam has been responsible for the development and growth of the company, as well as the policies and procedures and employment structure. He is passionate about providing quality care to those in need by providing highly trained staff in the community.

Charlotte joined Hygea Homecare right at the beginning of 2021, taking on the role of Care Coordinator. Through her hard work and dedication, she quickly advanced to become the company's, Care Manager. She oversees the day-to-day care delivery, making sure that the best possible care is provided.
