The manager has been very responsive and flexible around our needs - and has a very good understanding of how to deal with people with dementia. There has been some variation between different carers, but the service provided has been what my father needs at this time regarding his personal hygiene.

We are happy with the care given by the care workers. Health and safety is observed. Cleaned the kitchen fine.
There were a couple of times that the care worker did not arrive on time. This caused problems for both care worker and the patient, because the patient was on his own and could not get to
the door easily.
And once a couple of small plates that were part of a set were broken while emptying the dishwasher.
Admin work is not satisfactory. A few times I received invoices for other people. After I notified them, I did not receive my own invoices. I'm not sure if our invoices have gone to others or not. This is a serious issue of breaking the code of confidentiality.

Your service has been excellent all along. Sadly my husband would not say the same as he has dementia and hates to be touched especially someone washing him.

Use their services to take my daughter into the community. The staff are very pleasant and have the correct training for my daughter's condition. I feel able to talk to them about any problems and sort them out. They cannot do enough to ensure my daughter is happy and well looked after. I feel I can
relax knowing the staff can deal with anything that should occur whilst she is with them.

I telephoned the manager directly and he came to meet my mum and dad. He was on time and professional. He's been over to my dad's house twice now to give him a shower, and he's always been polite, friendly, and punctual. I would recommend the manager. Thanks.

The carer is consistent, so Mum is not confused by different people. They are always polite, professional, caring and punctual. They know exactly what needs to be done, do it respectfully and don't leave until Mum is comfortable.

My family are very happy with the service we are getting we feel they are very supportive of my sister-in-law who is the main carer. They have been so supportive, polite, caring and kind. A2Z has been looking after Mum since May 2022. The family is more than happy with the service provided and would gladly recommend A2Z to anyone seeking help with an elderly relative. Our main concern was making sure that Mum took her daily meds and had someone popping in every day to check on her well-being.
The manager keeps a very careful eye on all of Mum's needs and will quickly get in touch with any concerns. I know Mum looks forward to her daily chats and morning cuppa with him!

Having experienced poor care from a previous supplier, A2Z Homecare has been a very positive change. They engage with my Mother and keep an eye on her cleanliness, well-being and alert me to any issues that need addressing. They spend the time that they're contracted to deliver and do not try to cut
corners. My Mother is very happy and I feel safe in the knowledge she is looked after very well, especially as I live abroad. My Aunt visited recently and told me how good she thought they were and she had only met them twice.

Our carer was always polite and was eager to fit in with our way of doing things. He always explained what he was asking us to do and would then do it our way. This type of listening kindness we felt was a very good way to deal with people. Added to this he was willing to help with minor tasks which
some may consider to be outside the scope of terms of normal service. We would be pleased to use his services again.

I highly recommend A2Z Homecare if you are searching endlessly to find a reliable, trustworthy and caring company to look after your loved one. I have used home care companies for over sixteen years when I have needed help with my uncle and I can honestly say this is the best company I have ever used.
They actually care! They have gone above and beyond with the help they have given me not only with the care for my uncle (who can be very demanding and difficult at times) but also with the support the manager gives me (I have never had that from a home care before). With the personal touches the manager provides (the call to catch up on things and to see how I am) I feel I can really open up with the manager and he understands what I am also going through and doesn’t judge me. I totally trust A2Z with the care of my uncle and have no worries in just leaving them to get on to do what needs doing. I can honestly say this is not just a job for the manager, he cares and supports all involved!

I have worked in the adult care sector since 1998 when I left education. I started as a carer in elderly care for those living with dementia. Later I moved to younger adults with complex Epilepsy and learning disabilities, where I progressed through the ranks to become a manager.


I am always keen to learn about the service users needs that use our service and therefore undertake lots of ongoing training to update my skills.


I have previously completed my Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care as well as lots of other qualifications.
