I am currently a resident in supported living. Please do not come here, it is not what it says on the tin! The mould under the bed has been reported many times since November, still nothing done about it, no cup, plate, cutlery, not a teabag and I asked for plaster (to cover a damaged finger after many
surgeries) also denied. I'm unable to go to the pharmacy as they did not knock on my door for a delivery on Friday, same as an online retailer. £45,000+ a year to watch your struggles. They tell a guy in here who's having a breakdown to go to his bed. This place is not fit for purpose, look elsewhere for trained support workers cause this ain't it. Locks on the door don't work but a newly installed lock on the staff toilet works perfectly, as does their hand dryer. You'll get nothing from being in here other than wanting out. Choose wisely-choose elsewhere!

Thank you for you review, as you are aware the complaints relating to your property, should be made directly to the landlord of the property not to Sterling Care Group. (lock on door, mould etc) We will also feed this information to the landlord however we do believe this matter was resolved. We will contact the landlord to discuss this in more detail. As the service is independent living, all tenants are made aware prior to move in they would require all essentials such as crockery, bed linen and groceries, as it is not a care home and all tenants have access to their own finances to purchase these items. However, we do ensure tenants have a duvet, towel and supported to access clothes and food parcel's if they arrive with nothing. We will continue to investigate this complaint.

Brilliant, friendly service. Must recommend them. My health needs have not been the best in the past few months; I have been struggling with cooking and personal care needs. My adult social worker organised this company to help me with my daily living to make my life a little easier. The staff have
been brilliant. Two days in to the care now, and can't thank them enough. Starting to feel like me again instead of being stuck in bed all time. I like the way that they help me and support me to do things like cooking or changing my bed, and don't just do it for me; it's helping build me back up to doing things myself once I have the ability to again. Thanks.
