The service provided by Radfield is to look after my wife while I take a twice a week break from caring for her. I have found the carer to be reliable, caring and very helpful. The carer's professional way she looks after my wife and the trust she has formed with her gives me great peace of mind leaving
my wife in her hands while I take a much-needed break.

I joined this agency in April 2022 not long after it commenced in this area. I receive care from a small team of carers, all of whom provided what I regard as exemplary care. They are all punctual. pleasant, engaging and professional in their manner. Also showing complete respect for me and my property,
supporting me where necessary whilst allowing me to remain as independent as possible.
I would also praise the management for their recruitment policy, approachability and support in regard to my ongoing care. I have never had the need to raise any concerns, but feel these would be addressed should the need arise.
In summary, if I were asked I would recommend this agency without hesitation

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

Jason’s background lies in recruitment, spending time recruiting both internationally and locally. He has managed local retail outlets, progression to management and business development roles involving international operations and development of new markets. His experience in recruitment and business development puts him in a fantastic position to overcome some of the challenges facing the care industry.

“I have family and friends involved in the care sector, which has given me some insight into the difficulties in the industry. I’ve also seen the amazing people giving care and the difference that they make every day to people’s lives.

“There is a lack of appreciation and understanding in general of the vital role that Care Professionals provide in the community. One of my goals is to develop a better understanding of this in my community, so that they are seen as the skilled professionals that they are.”

To pursue his dream of running his own business, Jason had to make the difficult choice of leaving his corporate lifestyle behind.

“In the end this was made possible by realising that in this industry I really could make a difference to my community rather than what was increasingly feeling like superficial success in the more corporate background that I was part of.”

Radfield Home Care puts a lot of emphasis on the family values the company was founded on and with this comes championing client satisfaction and making Care Professionals feel valued and supported. These values align perfectly with Jason’s own goals and aspirations.

“I want to increase the awareness of the importance of the role of Care Professional in our community. Radfield Home Care are always open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve the service offered.”

We would like to introduce you to Deborah, registered care manager for Radfield Home Care Fareham, Gosport & Warsash. Debbie is responsible for the day to day running of the office in line with CQC regulations and also for ensuring that the service is safe, caring, responsive, effective and well led. Debbie is the key point of contact for carers, clients and their families and promotes individual’s wellbeing at all times.

Debbie’s journey in care began when she was just a child, spending a lot of time with her grandparents and listening to their stories.

“I have always had a caring and compassionate nature and after working within the retail sector for years I decided I wanted a change and to make a difference, I got chatting to a friend outside my daughters school and she suggested I try caring.

It was the best decision I had ever made. I enjoyed it so much, seeing my ladies and gents faces every time I went in and the difference it made not only to them but to me. I really felt that I was making a difference and was so happy at my job for the first time.”

Debbie has extensive experience in the care sector. She started her career in care in 2006 as a Care Professional in her local community. Her passion for looking after others has led to her working in a variety of settings, from domiciliary care, dementia care and adults with learning difficulties.

“In 2017 I started with my previous employer as a supervisor, becoming the manager shortly after. I passed my level 5 in health and social care in 2019 and then passed my CQC fit person interview to become the registered manager, overseeing 2 large branches of the company, running over 250 staff and 500 clients.”

Debbie’s background as both a Care Professional and registered manager makes her the ideal person to understand the challenges facing both clients and employees.

“I enjoy a challenge and am looking forward to building an extremely successful business with great values. I believe myself and Jason have the same passion and drive to promote person centred care to empower individuals to live the best life possible by providing excellent care with valued care staff.”

Debbie wants to inspire others, she tells us:

“I feel after starting as a Care Professional and working my way up that I can inspire others. I will always be available for clients and their families as I believe it is essential to build trusting working relationships to help clients and families to feel confident about the service they are receiving. I am passionate about the job I do and the people that work alongside me.”
