The carers are all very kind and Mum looks forward to their visits. They focus on her strengths and never make her feel uncomfortable about the things she can no longer do. The service is very flexible and helpful and shows attention to Mum's needs as an individual.

The carers are all very friendly and provide excellent care, monitoring any minor health issues and communicating these to their colleagues and myself. They are all willing to get involved with the physio and reading exercises necessary for my wife's rehabilitation. They always carry out their full
session without me having to find them things to do, unlike staff from our previous care company who were always in a rush to leave. The whole operation is clearly professionally run and well organised and I have not had to contact the office about any concerns since we set them on back in July.

I have been with Radfield Home Care for two months.
They are respectful of me and my property.
I receive a rota, so I know who is visiting my property and at what time.
The care I receive is professional and of a high standard. The carers arrive and leave at the agreed times and will always ask if
there is anything else I need before they leave.

I just want to say a big thank you for being so kind and caring to my mum. She is so happy with everything you are doing for her. It all makes such a big difference to her. It really is the little things that count. She said the carer that went in today, kneeled down and held her hand. There have been
so many other things that have made all the difference to her and are very much appreciated.
I'm glad she's decided to have someone in every morning now.

Sona has always had a passion for positive contribution. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in science, she started her career working for a reputable pharmaceutical company carrying out biomedical research to support cancer therapy.


“The positive experience helped me to look at wider opportunities to make a difference in society which led me to complete a Masters in Public Health. Since then, I have worked in the private healthcare sector. My primary role was to work with various professionals such as doctors, nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists to ensure that clients who were often vulnerable with disabilities had a positive experience with the services provided.”


There has been a big change in the number of older people seeking greater independence, wanting to stay within their own homes. Sona aims to provide a more personalised and quality service as opposed to some of the care alternatives.


“I aspired from a young age to own a business that would positively contribute to society. Running a private home care service within my local area and developing it will provide me with immense satisfaction. This is especially rewarding knowing that my home care service is making a difference in the community and helping people live the best lives they can, independently.”

We would like to introduce you to Victoria Abel, deputy care manager for Radfield Home Care Leicester East, Groby & Oadby. Victoria is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the office in line with CQC regulations and supporting the Care Manager to ensure that the service is safe, caring, responsive and effective.


Victoria is a key point of contact for carers, clients and their families and promotes individuals’ well-being at all times.


Victoria joined the care sector in 2018 as a Care Professional and immediately fell in love with the role, spending the next two years caring for people in their own homes. In June 2020 she moved into the role of Community Care Manager, where she was responsible for a large care team, ensuring their training was up to date.


“I also oversaw the management of over 30 customers, making sure that the day-to-day care plan was reflective of their care needs and completing their reviews when needed. I took customer enquiries and completed any assessments for all areas that the business covered if needed. I was also responsible for communicating with local authorities and the NHS, supporting complex and 24 hour care packages.”
