Excellent and empathetic care from two staff members in particular. They treat my father with care and sympathy and by joining in with his religious ceremonies.
They are very much trusted and relied upon by us and are a real credit to Avid


Avid has been a very organised and caring organisation.

My father is suffering from a serous condition with a number of care needs which have been fully accommodated by the company. Well done and highly recommended !!

Very kind and attentive carers for my terminally ill mother.
She was very well looked after, and my mum liked all her carers and felt safe with them. The carers were respectful, kind and trustworthy.
They displayed an excellent knowledge and understanding of patients' needs when bed-bound and terminally
ill.
The communication was excellent. I am so glad they helped my mother in her final days.

We were so pleased with the care and attention to detail that the carers from Avid Care had with my Aunt, especially one lady. She was amazing, she is an asset to this company nothing was too much trouble, she made my aunt feel very comfortable and relaxed. She made us all feel at ease and very quickly
became an important part of our family. She cared for my aunt with such patience and ensured all my aunt's needs and wants were met. I cannot thank her enough for all the love and support she provided to my aunt.

We are more than happy with the service of the carers, they are doing their utmost to make my mother as comfortable as possible, flexibility and communication is really easy, so we are able to arrange longer stays in order to do other things such as shopping etc.

The carers who looked after my mother-in-law were truly amazing. They were caring, spoke Gujarati, compassionate and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They would even make Mum smile with their jokes. We would highly recommend Avid Care.

The carers (who speak fluent Gujarati) took care of my 98-year-old mum. They were very compassionate and caring and they treated my mum like their own Mum. I was impressed with the way they showered her and fed her food and medicines. I would highly recommend them for the services they provide.

Home care experience overall has been excellent, my father is very comfortable with his carer. The carer understands my father's needs, habits and does his utmost to make him feel comfortable. He is always punctual and informs us of any changes in the timetable.
Communication in both English and Gujarati
is a great advantage as my dad can express himself/explain himself more clearly to get the most out of his care.

Two carers, in particular, have been caring for my Mum four times a day since her discharge from hospital on a fast track.
They have been wonderful. Friendly, caring, and compassionate. They treat Mum and our Dad too with kindness and respect. They are Gujarati speaking and we are Marathi speaking
(though they and all of us speak English). They have made the effort to learn some words in Marathi which has delighted Mum. They have allowed her to keep her autonomy and dignity and we can't thank them enough. They are lovely, delightful women, and we are lucky to have been allocated them to our Mum as carers.

We have been using this home care service since 18th July 2024. We have found both the carers extremely courteous and helpful. The care provided to the smallest details and excellent service and attitude. Can't find a single fault and hope all care providers are like these carers.

Two members of staff in particular are absolutely exemplary in their services to my mother who is receiving palliative care. They are very punctual and dedicated in going above and beyond their call of duty. They have also demonstrated professionalism in their behaviour and used new and innovative methods
to support my mother's care. Being in the end of life stage in dementia where swallowing food or liquids is a big challenge, both members of staff show a lot a patience and persistence on a daily basis. I am pleased with their performance and would strongly recommend their services to the social services. I wish them the very best in their professional journey as caregivers.

Avid Care provide personalised care and are attentive to needs. One member of staff in particular is a great carer to my dad and supports him well. It is good that there is flexibility and Avid Care is always contactable.
