This company are truly the best. I've never had such a caring company for my sister. We have had a few different companies over the past two years and Alcedo Care are by far the best one we have come across. My sister has complex care needs so for us it is very important to have the right care for her.
She is cared for by such kind, warm and well-trained staff that really do make a difference to her life not just clinically but emotionally. She feels happy with her carers and I've not seen her laugh so much in a long time. We are forever grateful. I must add this also, always on time, wearing a uniform and correct PPE, they understand the importance of safety as well as care. Excellent service!

The majority of the time, we have a positive time with care for our daughter. When we have had issues, they are usually listened to and addressed. For myself, my daughter has a lot of autistic tendencies, so new people are difficult. Then we have staff who come regularly and get to know her ways well.
This works for us better.

Hi, I am Faye Fenton and I am the Operations Manager for Preston, Blackburn, Bury and Trafford.
My role in short is to oversee the day-to-day running of our homecare service.
I am responsible for ensuring that our service meets all legal and regulatory requirements (according to CQC), and ultimately ensure that we are providing excellent quality, person-centred care to our clients. I have worked within the care sector since I was 18. I have always enjoyed working within the sector and have always wanted to make a difference in the way that home care is delivered.

Hi, my name is Tyler and I am the Area Manager for Alcedo Care Blackburn. I have worked with Alcedo Care since January 2023. I was attracted to working at Alcedo due to hearing good things from employees whom I had worked with at a previous care provider, I also was particularly attracted to the family values and the development opportunities that appeared available within the organisation.


Before joining Alcedo I had taken a 5-month break from work to foster a child as I got approved with Lancashire County Council earlier in the year. Before this, I had worked in health and social care for around 6 years, starting as a support worker and moving over to North West Ambulance Service to work in emergency triage. I then realised I wanted to be more hands-on with health care and returned to supported living as a deputy manager.


Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner and son. We particularly enjoy walking the dogs, going out on activities such as local museums and trying to visit each zoo in the UK.

Hello, my name is Hannah. I have worked in the care industry since 2015 as a domiciliary home carer, I am currently working towards my NVQ level 3 in health and social care. I have been working for Alcedo Care since October 2022, I started as a domiciliary home carer but I have since then been promoted to a care coordinator and now a deputy manager.


I have a daughter who is 3 years old and spend my time outside of work caring for my daughter, keeping her happy and entertained. In my spare time, I enjoy day trips out, and watching crime, police and drama series. I hope to make a difference to both our carers and clients by giving them a sense of consistency and enjoyment with Alcedo Care.

I have worked in complex care for the last 5 years with different service users, giving me vital experience in various health conditions and equipment.


I like going on walks with my two dogs and spending time with my family any chance I have.
