My name is Victoria Leecy, I am the Operations Manager for Alcedo Care in Blackpool, Lancaster and South Lakes. I have 8 years of experience in health and social care. I have worked with children and adults in a wide range of settings from children’s homes, rehabilitation, support units, care homes and home care.

I am currently in the process of completing my Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

Throughout my career, I have always been passionate about the care and support of clients and always going that extra mile for staff and clients to ensure we provide person-centred care.

I have a passion to make a difference. Alcedo Care has given me the support to achieve the best possible outcomes for my team, the clients and my own professional development.

Outside of work, I am a mum to two boys to whom I devote all my time, I love to spend quality time with my family and enjoy a bit of decorating and gardening.

My name is Lisa Floyd, I am the Area Manager for Alcedo Care. I have over 10 years of experience in the health and social care setting, and I have worked in a variety of roles throughout my career ranging from a healthcare assistant to a registered manager.

I have attended university and completed my foundation degree and bachelor’s degree in Health & Social Care.

My role as a manager is to enable and monitor compliance with the fundamental Standards across regulated activities and share legal responsibilities in relation to that position with the provider.

I strive to go above and beyond to ensure a proficient service is delivered and while working here at Alcedo Care my priority is to ensure we are delivering outstanding care to all clients as this will enhance the quality of lives.

My name is Jamie and I am the Care manager for Alcedo Care South Lakes. My role in a nutshell is to oversee the day-to-day running of our homecare service. I am responsible for ensuring that our service meets all legal and regulatory requirements (according to CQC), and ultimately ensure that we are providing excellent quality, person-centred care to our clients.

My name is Magenta Barrow. I am the Deputy Manager of Alcedo Care South Lakes. I joined Alcedo in January 2023 and I have 11 years’ experience in health and social care.

I have worked previously in care homes working with residential, nursing, and challenging behaviour clients and out in the community. I started off as a carer at the age of 18 and worked my way up becoming a team leader and gaining my Level 2 and Level 3 in Health and Social care.
I have a passion for care and there is nothing more that puts a smile on my face than seeing clients with a smile on their face ensuring they receive the love and care we would like our families to receive.

In my spare time, I like to go out walking the fells with my partner, cocker spaniel and Yorkshire terrier completing the Wainwrights and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

My name is Callum and I’m the recruiter at Alcedo Care Kendal. I work to fill our care jobs in Kendal and the surrounding South Lakes areas, and I’m the first person you’ll be in touch with when you look to join Alcedo Care as a South Lakes care assistant or support worker. My role is to work with our operation team to identify where we need more staff, post adverts and review applications. I carry out interviews and guide our potential future carers through the application and compliance process, ensuring we are bringing through the best calibre of care professionals to provide outstanding quality care to our clients.
