I cannot thank our carers enough for how they have looked after my mother in her late life. They have shown great compassion and commitment throughout their time with our family. We will always be extremely grateful, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

The nominated person and her team have been a Godsend in supporting my mother as a carer. She is punctual, kind and reliable. She has fitted into our family very well and is a pleasure to have around the house. She is also very supportive of my father, who is also caring for my mother. Both are 95 years

I have found the carers extremely sympathetic with regard to my wife. They are most attentive to her needs and are always aware to try and make her as comfortable as possible. They have established a rapport with my wife and are able to persuade her to eat, drink and consent to be moved from the hospital
bed to the reclining chair.
If my wife, for some reason, does not wish to do what they suggest, they will accede to her wishes. They are never dominant or authoritarian. They will include me in conversations regarding my wife’s preferences regarding what she does or does not like regarding food. They try and ring the changes when dressing her. If for some reason, I have to be absent, they are very willing to stay. Their presence is a comfort to me, and I would heartily recommend them.

My experience with Open House Care has been beautiful! They have taken a massive weight of my shoulders. My nan got Covid which made caring for her very difficult. Open House Care really helped her to find her feet again. Open House Care worked with us and it paid of dearly. My nan loves when she sees
her open house carer! Shes very particular so it's lovely she opened up to the ladies so quickly. Their warm soft gentle touch really is all I could ever ask for. The process of care is very professional and consistent. We really are over the moon. Thank you!

Open House has been providing excellent care for my wife (who had a stroke in February) for the last three months. The real test of the chief carer's skill and sensitivity was apparent from the beginning when my wife said: "there's someone who knows what she's doing" Their experience and wisdom is outstanding-
knowing how to make a patient comfortable and safe, skill with hoists, beds and Sara steadies, and the ability to engage in meaningful conversation. Attending to the personal needs of a patient requires strength and an adeptness which is one of their key attributes. My wife found their presence calming knowing that she is in the hands of a true professional. A stroke victim needs encouragement to be positive and forward looking and they have given my wife a psychological boost with a caring and optimistic outlook. Support staff have been able to contribute efficiently and enthusiastically under the guidance of their employer.
We are delighted with the service from Open House.

My carer was absolutely amazing and very reliable. She was always very good company and very pleasant to talk to and helped me enormously during my recuperation from a major operation. I would recommend her very highly.
