The Review Score of 9.5 (9.544) out of 10 for Sante Care at Home - Devon is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.
a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 4.944 for Sante Care at Home - Devon is calculated as follows: ( (34 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 36 Ratings = 4.944
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Sante Care at Home - Devon is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 = 4.6
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Director and Registered Manager
Joined: 2015
Hello, my name is Ann Sayers. I am the joint owner and Company Director (with Gosia Dennis) of Sante Care at Home and I am also the Registered Manager for both Surrey and Devon locations.
I qualified as a Registered Nurse at the Royal London Hospital in 1978 and over 28 years have been spent specialising in the care of older people. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies and throughout my career as matron/manager I have consistently achieved ‘Excellent’ and ‘Fully Compliant’ inspection reports from the Care Quality Commission. I am committed to promoting the provision and maintenance of the highest standard of nursing and personal care to older people, ensuring their needs, wishes and aspirations are delivered with the utmost dignity and respect.
Gosia and I created Sante Care at Home in 2015 and with the support of our wonderful staff we have built a successful care agency with the ethos of caring and supporting both our clients and our staff, this I find is the most rewarding and enjoyable part of my job.
When I am not working I enjoy walking my dog, cooking and entertaining friends and family. My 4 daughters and 4 granddaughters are very important to me and, whilst some now live far away I like to visit them as often as possible.

My name is Gosia Dennis and I am the joint owner and Company Director (with Ann Sayers) of Sante Care At Home. I grew up in Poland, visiting family in England since the age of 8, and spent a year in England when I was 14. I returned to London when I was 19 to study business and worked as a care assistant to support myself. I enjoyed this work so much that I decided to become a Registered Nurse, qualifying in 2002 from the University of Surrey in Guildford, and working mostly in nursing homes and private hospitals. During this time I met Ann Sayers who was the Registered Manager of a care home. I also set up and managed a small niche recruitment agency, placing nurses and care workers from Europe into care homes. I have developed comprehensive systems for identifying the most suitable care professionals from within both the UK and Europe.
In 2014 I approached Ann about setting up Sante Care At Home with the vision of creating a Live-in Care Agency that really made a difference to both clients and care workers. We made the vision a reality in 2015 and I am so proud of what we all have achieved – an agency with the highest levels of care for our clients and comprehensive support to our staff. We listen to clients’ needs and match the best candidates to their specific requirements. In 2018 I moved with my family to Devon and so established a branch in Tavistock.
Whenever I can I enjoy time with my family and friends, walking, nature and travel.
Job Title: Manager

My name is Nicky Kenny and I’m the Manager of Sante Care At Home in the South West. I oversee the daily running of the office covering Devon and Cornwall and am in the process of applying for my Manager Registration. I live in the South Hams area of Devon with my husband and children.
In 2011 I made the decision to leave my position as a Head Housekeeping Manager for a more fulfilling career path. I then started my journey in the health and social care industry where I gained experience in a variety of settings from supported living to domiciliary care. In 2020 I became the South West Regional Live-in Care Manager for a national company, gaining the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care. I joined the Sante Care Team in December 2023 because I was impressed with the ethos of the company; Ann and Gosia genuinely care about our clients and carers and this really resonated with me. I love supporting our carers to offer the best possible care.
I am fortunate to live by the sea in the village I grew up in and enjoy swimming and paddleboarding – when it isn’t raining! I also love travelling and exploring different countries and cultures with my family or friends and dream of moving to sunnier climates one day.
Job Title: Administrator
Joined: 2022
I’ve lived in the Tavistock area of Devon since 2007 and have 3 children. I love my role as Administrator for Sante Care At Home, doing my best to ensure that the Devon office runs smoothly.
I started my career as a Logistics Officer in the Royal Navy, working both ashore in the UK and at sea. I took a career break to care for my family and also set up a smallholding selling free-range produce. Since then I’ve worked for a variety of local organisations which has been interesting and rewarding. My main roles at Sante Care are with recruitment, payroll and marketing. I really enjoy supporting our carers during the recruitment process and beyond.
My hobbies are walking on Dartmoor with my dog, yoga and crochet.
