My mother urgently needed live-in care. The first provider I contacted advertised an ability to provide care within 24hrs. On the phone, they amended that to within 72hrs of an assessment visit. At the visit, they hummed and hawed over even that, quoted £900/wk more than the price given on the phone
and reserved their greatest enthusiasm for getting signatures on a direct debit. Then later phoned to say they couldn't help, because of concerns which they hadn't bothered to raise when they were visiting.
When I telephoned Sante Care at Home it was completely different. They visited very quickly, spent the time finding out about Mum rather than waving forms at us & were relaxed about things which had bothered the other provider (eg. rural location). They were also able to provide the care which was needed. We had two live-in carers; both were extremely pleasant, competent, flexible and quick to learn. I felt completely comfortable leaving my mother with them. I'd definitely use again.

Sante Care began providing a 24-hour live-in care package for my friend who was suffering from Motor neurone disease from April 23 to September 23 when my friend sadly passed away.
There were challenges in the beginning due to the complexity of the amount of care required but Santa Care were respectful
and helpful in trying to fulfil my friend's needs. In the early days, there were a few changes to the care team but one of the initial carers that started in April on the first week was caring for my friend as waking night care on rotation until the last night when she passed away. This carer was held in very high regard by my friend and her family. In the last few months of my friend's life, there were 4 carers rotating 24/7 waking care - this was very intense for the carers, my friend and her family. The 4 ladies were amazing and treated my friend with professionalism, respect and dignity but were also very caring, kind and sympathetic to her complex needs and the difficult medical and personal care required.

When the living and care situation of my elderly parents became desperate, I contacted Sante Care at Home at very short notice, asking for their help. The manager was so understanding and reassuring and did everything she could to assist. Live-in care was what I wanted for my parents, as I felt they
would be happier remaining in their own home and familiar surroundings.
The management and carers have been so kind and respectful of my parents, treating them with the dignity that they so deserve. My father continues to be cared for in his own home and I am kept updated with his health and wellbeing. I have peace of mind knowing that he is being cared for in the best possible environment, in his twilight years.
I am extremely grateful to the management and staff of Sante Care.

I have been working with care agencies for a number of years and it has been hard to find an agency who deliver a service to the standard I would expect to receive for a member of my own family. Sante Care have absolutely achieved not only an immensely caring service both within the care staff they
employ, but also their managers. As is often the case, a package of care is needing to be provided urgently and often at a very complex level of requirements - on each and every occasion Sante Care have delivered an exceptional service. Both myself as an attorney, the clients and their families are afforded such kindness and care together with the assurances of continuity of care and staff provision. Sante Care absolutely go the extra mile no matter what day or time, I am always able to speak with someone who can offer help and advice.

A very well-run company. All our concerns and any issues have always been promptly dealt with. The day to day support is superb and the individual carers have always been reliable and professional. They take pride in their work and I would recommend Sante Care at Home to anyone in need of help.

My husband and I have had tremendous support from Sante Care at Home for over 19 months now - it has changed our lives! When the permanent carer has had time off, we've also been well-supported too. If there has been a problem (with just one carer), it was sorted quickly and sympathetically.
We would
recommend the service to anyone. All carers have got on well with the dog - the only fault there is that he is spoilt!
Accounting: This has been a little erratic in the past because my computer does not accept your standard billing, A member of staff has to send my bills separately and there is a lag every time in the invoicing.
There has also been the odd error (quickly corrected, however).
Checks from admin staff: This is a difficult area to get absolutely right! Because we are a busy household, it can be difficult to fit in the 'overseer' at times. Everyone is always pleasant, of course.
Overall, I'd say they are cooperative.

Job Title: Director and Registered Manager

Hello, my name is Ann Sayers. I am the joint owner and Company Director (with Gosia Dennis) of Sante Care at Home and I am also the Registered Manager for both Surrey and Devon locations.

I qualified as a Registered Nurse at the Royal London Hospital in 1978 and over 28 years have been spent specialising in the care of older people. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies and throughout my career as matron/manager I have consistently achieved ‘Excellent’ and ‘Fully Compliant’ inspection reports from the Care Quality Commission. I am committed to promoting the provision and maintenance of the highest standard of nursing and personal care to older people, ensuring their needs, wishes and aspirations are delivered with the utmost dignity and respect.

Gosia and I created Sante Care at Home in 2015 and with the support of our wonderful staff we have built a successful care agency with the ethos of caring and supporting both our clients and our staff, this I find is the most rewarding and enjoyable part of my job.

When I am not working I enjoy walking my dog, cooking and entertaining friends and family. My 4 daughters and 4 granddaughters are very important to me and, whilst some now live far away I like to visit them as often as possible.

My name is Gosia Dennis and I am the joint owner and Company Director (with Ann Sayers) of Sante Care At Home. I grew up in Poland, visiting family in England since the age of 8, and spent a year in England when I was 14. I returned to London when I was 19 to study business and worked as a care assistant to support myself. I enjoyed this work so much that I decided to become a Registered Nurse, qualifying in 2002 from the University of Surrey in Guildford, and working mostly in nursing homes and private hospitals. During this time I met Ann Sayers who was the Registered Manager of a care home. I also set up and managed a small niche recruitment agency, placing nurses and care workers from Europe into care homes. I have developed comprehensive systems for identifying the most suitable care professionals from within both the UK and Europe.

In 2014 I approached Ann about setting up Sante Care At Home with the vision of creating a Live-in Care Agency that really made a difference to both clients and care workers. We made the vision a reality in 2015 and I am so proud of what we all have achieved – an agency with the highest levels of care for our clients and comprehensive support to our staff. We listen to clients’ needs and match the best candidates to their specific requirements. In 2018 I moved with my family to Devon and so established a branch in Tavistock.

Whenever I can I enjoy time with my family and friends, walking, nature and travel.

My name is Nicky Kenny and I’m the Manager of Sante Care At Home in the South West. I oversee the daily running of the office covering Devon and Cornwall and am in the process of applying for my Manager Registration. I live in the South Hams area of Devon with my husband and children.

In 2011 I made the decision to leave my position as a Head Housekeeping Manager for a more fulfilling career path. I then started my journey in the health and social care industry where I gained experience in a variety of settings from supported living to domiciliary care. In 2020 I became the South West Regional Live-in Care Manager for a national company, gaining the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care. I joined the Sante Care Team in December 2023 because I was impressed with the ethos of the company; Ann and Gosia genuinely care about our clients and carers and this really resonated with me. I love supporting our carers to offer the best possible care.

I am fortunate to live by the sea in the village I grew up in and enjoy swimming and paddleboarding – when it isn’t raining! I also love travelling and exploring different countries and cultures with my family or friends and dream of moving to sunnier climates one day.
