The ladies at Guardian Angels really do live up to their name! They have been looking after Mum since July this year and we can highly recommend them. Mum has Alzheimer's but is still very independent and wants to stay in her own home. She really didn't want anyone coming into her house and felt she
didn't need any help. However, with Guardian Angels she really looks forward to their visits and sees them more as friends than carers. Nothing is too much trouble and they will help Mum with anything she is struggling with, as well as making sure she has eaten and taken her medication. Everyone is so professional but also kind and caring and couldn't be nicer. Special mention to one of the business owners who made a real fuss of Mum on her recent big birthday with a beautiful birthday cake. Thank you all!

I would like to thank all the team of 'angels' who looked after my mother and father-in-law at a very difficult time for us. At the ages of ninety-six and ninety-four things were becoming difficult at times, with mobility issues and my mum-in-law’s dementia. They both had a fall back in April and my
father-in-law broke six ribs. It was a long six weeks, with both of them in hospital and the dementia seeming to accelerate.
Once we found Guardian Angels things became much easier and we were able to share and discuss some of the changes we were having to deal with. We were all, but especially my mother-in-law, treated with the upmost respect, care and understanding. We managed to get into a good routine and all the 'angels' were amazing, always on time and nothing was too much trouble. They were never in a rush to leave and always made my in-laws feel special. Sadly, things have moved on now and we no longer see the smiling faces every day, but we do miss them all. Thank you all once again.

Based on our own personal experience, we can highly recommend the Guardian Angels team in Easingwold to do an exceptional job of caring for your family member in their own home.
They have the utmost of professionalism, along with compassion, support for all the family involved, and most of all assessing
and then caring for the needs of your loved one.
We had been looking after my father, who has advanced Dementia, for some time at home but there came a point when we could no longer do this without some additional help.
The options we were given were so flexible and it was so important to us to be able to have the same carer/ers visiting, as Dad would not have tolerated lots of different people helping him with his personal care, in his home.
They have provided such personable friendly service; we could not have managed without them!
It has been so precious to us as we could not have kept Dad at home as long as we did.

I found during my meetings with my clients that care and how they would be cared for in the future was an issue that concerned many, not just for themselves but also for their own parents and grandparents. This desire to help people fulfil their dreams and manage their concerns led me to the decision to start a care business.


I wanted to be part of a franchise to ensure I could tap into the years of experience in running a care business, so looked for a company with strong values that matched mine, and Guardian Angel Carers fit the bill.

Having moved to Easingwold 12 years ago, I consider myself a local resident of this lively, bustling market town that has a strong focus on supporting all who live here.


Drawing on my years of experience working in social care, and running a domiciliary care business in the town, enabled me to develop positive partnerships with individuals and organisations towards a shared goal of well-being for all. In the past decade, I have invested in my own professional development to ensure I can train and support colleagues to be the best carers they can, be and to be carers who work with clients, putting them at the heart of all they do. Undertaking a master’s degree in Dementia Studies at the University of Hull is my current project and one that has enabled me to really explore the dementia journey for carers, clients and their loved ones.


I have seen, first-hand, an ever-growing need for more and more responsive, compassionate, client-centred care across our county. Naturally, I was thrilled to hear that Guardian Angel Carers, while based in Easingwold, has made the commitment to provide robust support services to an area extending widely from York to Thirsk and our rural communities beyond.
