So far, I’ve had an extremely positive experience. The help I’ve received from my home care provider has gone far and beyond what I expected and has taken a lot of the stress away from me and my partner, having just been discharged from hospital and me being unable to do basic things at home. She has
been reliable, upbeat and anticipates what support I need without me even having to ask! It’s really lifted my mood and helped me to see there is light at the end of this recovery tunnel! Thank you so much.

Visiting Angels have recently started looking after my father, they have provided a reliable and carefully picked team of carers that we couldn’t recommend enough. They considered my father's preferences when presenting him with who would be supporting him. The management team have been professional
and approachable from the beginning.
The staff are highly trained and this demonstrates in the work they do.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I thought Visiting Angels really deserve to be praised for the amazing work they do for their clients.
From the beginning, the care manager really took into consideration my mum's preferences and skill sets needed to care for her to ensure we were matched with the
perfect caregivers.
The caregivers are always on time and always go above and beyond at every visit.
We always feel listened to when we have made suggestions.
Mum adores her caregivers to the extent that she no longer asks for her own children to visit but instead wants to know when her caregivers will be back again so she can enjoy their company.

Visiting Angels is literally what it says, we have Angels visiting my mum every day, and the support they give her is amazing. We were given a team of Angels (caregivers) who visit Mum, and these Angels are her regulars. The team of three Angels rotate throughout the week, and Mum knows who they are
and when they are coming all the time. This was really important for us as my mum can be overwhelmed when there are loads of new faces, but they have been consistent from the start. The Angels dont change, and they always communicate with us if there are any changes prior. The Angels have built an amazing relationship with Mum; they even take her out for walks, to coffee shops and libraries as without support, Mum would not be able to go out, and I and the family, were finding it very difficult to be able to get her out when she wanted.
The management and senior staff are so supportive and really understood what we were looking for. My mum is so grateful for her Angels.

I'll start off by saying, we have never been so satisfied with a care provider. My aunt has been with a few different providers over the years and has not been satisfied with the level of care that has been delivered. From the word go, the Visiting Angels staff were so attentive and really went above
and beyond to ensure they got every little detail my aunt needed for her daily routine. They even introduced my aunt to her caregiver before she even came to deliver the care which helped a lot as my aunt can be very anxious. The carer was very kind and the management have been very supportive to their carers. They have truly become like family.

The Angels from Visiting Angels that attend to my mother are amazing. I cannot thank them enough for the support they have given her. The manager was so kind and always helpful whenever I have anything to report. Mum loved her from the first visit which was the assessment. All the staff are very open
about adapting the service to her needs. They have always kept me informed about her mood and what they did for her which is so helpful when there are times when me and my partner can not visit. They also have an app that the family can use to see the notes that the Angels put after each visit so we are always included and informed. I couldn't ask for anything more. I have been so impressed by Visiting Angels. From the Angels, to the staff in the office, have been so attentive and always willing to help and go the extra mile. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for care. The processes that they put in place to ensure my grandmother had the best person
looking after her, is what made all the difference, as my grandmother is used to being very independent and really wanted a carer that would still allow her to be, that. They had a caregiver meeting, which allowed my grandmother to meet the carer prior to starting care and I thought that was great. Couldn't ask for a better agency to look after my grandmother.

Visiting Angels has provided a consistent team of excellent caregivers to support my dad who has Alzheimer's. The level of support we have received, has been simply outstanding. The care team is extremely supportive and was proactive in recommending changes to the care plan, to support my dad better.
From what I can see, the caregivers are extremely well-trained and very competent in what they do. If anything, the caregivers are more like caring for their own loved ones, rather than just doing a list of tasks on their job and leave. This is definitely a huge change from the care I've seen my dad received from other agencies.

Chekira's care journey started when her mother was diagnosed with MS and began her journey as a carer.


Along the way, she has had the pleasure of experiencing different roles in the industry and even went on to study Adult nursing, where she then worked onwards and in the community.


Chekira has been able to see the difference when someone actually cares and has a passion for improving the quality of life, however, sometimes this can be disrupted by the issues that occur in the healthcare industry.
