Bluebird Care have been excellent to deal with. Mum enjoys the carer's visits and has given me peace of mind. Very good feedback about what is happening with Mum. Nothing is too much trouble even when I live overseas.

From the first time I contacted Bluebird Care Ayrshire to the support for my mum, the approach was professional but also approachable. So glad I discovered Bluebird. Even after the first support session I was contacted to make sure everything went smoothly.

Mum reports she has felt cared for, listened to, supported and safe with her carers from Bluebird Care. Also stated she has not felt "rushed" to complete her tasks and enjoyed their company and chat. I felt her carers were especially good at helping to create and maintain a homely atmosphere while respecting
her space. The management team were always on hand with information and advice, providing a flexible person-centred care plan and responding quickly to any concerns raised.
One improvement would have been to be able to provide visit times in line with the usual routines Mum had for meals and medications. Unfortunately, as is widely reported, there is a chronic shortage of care staff all over the country and this is not a reflection of the overall care provided by all Bluebird staff involved in Mum's care.
We are both very appreciative and thankful for all your help and support.

Reply from Nicole Clarke, Marketing Manager at Bluebird Care Ayrshire

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. We're so pleased that both you and your mum are happy with our care. We will continually listen to feedback and look for ways to make improvements.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Bluebird Care Ayrshire is based on 4 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 = 4.25

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
