I have found Aroma carers to be polite, respectful, reliable and very caring. I cannot fault them. I was a little worried about having carers for my mam. I can not praise them enough. They work tirelessly in a happy, friendly way. Such lovely people. Thank you.

The carers are always cheerful, kind and very careful and correct in what they have to do for me. They look smart, clean and tidy and its a pleasure to be looked after by them.

The service provided by Aroma Care is generally excellent, both in care and consideration for my requirements/needs. Carers are very experienced and able to adapt if necessary. Continuity of actual carer is sometimes an issue for me.

Most of my experience has been good but I think most of that is down to the carer I have seen the most of. My biggest disappointment was when I had to ask for a woman to help me shower and a female carer came she was lovely but after was a failure mainly to do with time. By midday I had managed alone
and then to get to 7:40pm was useless I really need a good time keeper that is 9am and 6pm. Shower Monday and Thursday evening. If you can't do this I ask you to be honest and tell me. My situation is I have very bad arthritis moving in the mornings is almost impossible.

When two carers came it was generally the female who provided the care with the male (driver) sometimes just looking on, question why we should have to pay for two carers. I now have 1 carer on a morning only call and this is a male carer, question do you have any female carers who can drive? As a female
carer would provide more dignity. Carers sometimes arrive up to an hour late due to weather or traffic - they should call ahead if this is the case - it also means that the care is then rushed to make up time. When I cancelled the carer over one weekend you were informed, but failed to tell the carer, who turned up on a Saturday morning.

Job Title: Registered Manager

I am currently the registered manager for the Northamptonshire branch also overseeing our Leicestershire branch. I have been with Aroma care for 3 years now and together we have met some wonderful people including staff, service users in the community and also other professionals. I am fully qualified in leadership and management to Level 5.


I am proud to say that my Northamptonshire branch is accredited in “The Gold standards end of life care” This has enabled us to build an end of life team which consists of fully qualified care workers so we can support any individual in choosing to die at home with dignity and outstanding care.


We are currently working towards being accredited in Autism training. We enjoy our users coming to our welfare room, we have craft days, music sessions, and interactive days - we try to have as much fun as possible and we are all involved. I am proud to work alongside all of my care staff who deliver all care with a smile on their face.


My main objective within my role is to ensure high quality of care and that our service users’ needs are being met to the highest standard alongside ensuring my care worker welfare is paramount.
