All care visits last a minimum of 50 minutes. This way, care workers can ensure they are keeping the clients safe and comfortable.

Spending more time with the clients enables the care workers to ensure they feel genuinely safe and happy living at home and allows care workers to provide a level of holistic care to everyone.

Services include dementia care, home care, live-in care, complex care, rehabilitation, disability care as well as palliative care.

All care workers work closely with the client’s family and multidisciplinary teams (MDT) from the first moment the client is enlisted. This includes doctors, nurses, social workers, mental health workers, physiotherapists as well as other healthcare professionals.

We needed temporary care for our mum who suffers from dementia whilst our dad, her main carer, went away for the weekend. I cannot thank the carer enough for her kind and patient care of Mum, who would rather not have had any care!
The health assessment carried out was very thorough and contact was
excellent. We won't hesitate to use Blossom Home Care in the future. Thank you.

I am happy with the service. I get on with my carer and she is helping me to become more independent. I can see an improvement in my health and well-being since she has been coming. I can see an improvement too to my legs and I look forward to her coming.
I hope Blossom Home Care continues to employ
good staff like her. I appreciate the help, support and service.

We are very happy with the service Blossom Home Care are providing. My dad is also pleased with the progress it has made to his well-being. The carer is considerate and her communication skills are good as she always lets the family know if my dad needs anything. So far we are pleased and we hope she

We have been using Blossom Care for several months. We are very happy with the personal care my stepfather has experienced. The carers are so thorough and gentle. He is so well cared for in every way. The carers are always punctual and we have a key worker so we have a regular face which is good for
my stepfather. I highly recommend Blossom Care. They really do go the extra mile.

Since having dealings with Blossom Care we have been really impressed. They really put our family member's welfare at the centre of the time they are with them, the carers are very professional and friendly and it's nice that they get continuity with having the same carers all the time.

Dr David Igwe is the owner of Blossom Home Care Nottingham, with Nancy Nwachukwu and Maureen Nwankwo acting as Directors.


The three partners are something of a dream team for Blossom; David is a medical doctor with experience in mental health services, Maureen has a degree in digital marketing and years of care experience, and Nancy has over 14 years of experience in customer service and relationship management, alongside level 4 & 5 diplomas in health and social care. Combining all of their skills, the team have a determination to provide bloomin' good care to those who need it.


“Caring for people in their own environment matters a lot,” says David, who’ll continue to work part-time as a doctor in the psychiatric sector. “Blossom offers holistic care, and clients are treated more like family members.”

My first ever management role was at the tender age of 22, managing a sheltered housing scheme. Since then I have worked in various areas of the sector, mainly elderly, but I have years of experience working with adults and children with learning disabilities.


I first became an RM in 2017 and since then have managed Nursing, Residential and Domiciliary settings.


I chose to work with Blossom as I liked their ethos and the fact that they recognise good care cannot be delivered safely or effectively in any less than 50 minutes. I also recognised that they are an award-winning organisation, with many of the branches having different awards, this is something that I aspire to do for Nottingham
