Eden View Care and Response Services provides individual homecare packages through the local authority and on a private contract where required.

Eden View Care and Response Services provides hospital discharge packages to assist with a safe home return.

Eden View Care and Response Services also provides an extensive palliative care service allowing the service users to remain in the comfort of their own home whilst receiving the treatment and care they require to remain comfortable and well cared for.

Eden View's response service provides an in-home alarm service for user's safety within their home, door-sensors, fall pendants, wrist pendants, neck pendants and an emergency toileting service. A monitor-only service for service users who may need daily living assistance or administrative assistance. This service can provide emergency call-outs.

Packages for the Response Service include:

Installation Fee: £35.00 one-off fee
Monitor Only Package: Provides reassurance and follow up calls where required to external services such as GP's, Emergency services and family members. £16.00 per month
Standard Package: Monitor only service package + Falls attendance/ assistance. £34:00
Enhanced Package: Monitor only package + Standard Package + Emergency toileting. £65:00
Fall Pendants: £20.00 per month extra
Door Sensors: £30.00 per month extra
Additional Call Outs £25.00 per call

After 3 months in hospital my dad was sent home with an end of life palliative care package arranged by the Cumberland Infirmary. Eden View care services were who they organised it with providing us with a double up visit 4 x a day. The staff and the service provided was truly amazing and my dad was
treated with nothing but care, compassion and dignity. They always arrived with a smile on their faces and were always sympathetic and very caring despite doing a very difficult job. They talked to dad the whole time they were with him, even though by this time he was non responsive and were always looking at ways that they could make his last few days more comfortable. Mum and I are so grateful for everything they did and feel they were also looking after us as well as dad, always making sure we were coping with what was a very sad and difficult time; we simple couldn't have asked for a better all round service.

Eden View care team provided loving, professional care to my dad in the last few weeks of his life. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did from providing basic care, night sitting service and tending to all his needs, always with a cheery smile on their faces. They were trustworthy and reliable,
and it was lovely having them come into our home to help dad. They became good friends to us all.
The overnight care really helped our family, in particular mum, to recharge our batteries at a time when we were running on empty. I write this review as I want to give amazing feedback to all the staff from Eden View who cared for him.
I also write this review for all families in future who find themselves in the position we were in some weeks ago. To those families, I want to let you know that your precious loved ones will be well cared for by this fantastic team.

My gosh, where do I start. From being delivered my Mum was to commence the process of 'End Of Life'. Absolutely devastating news, Mum was estimated 1-3 days from the end of April 2024, and her wish was to be home.
The care team were amazing they showed care and love, and nothing was ever any trouble
to them.
They lifted my mum's spirits, she laughed with them and looked forward to their visits.
After 9 weeks, my mum passed knowing she was not just loved by family, but a caring compassionate care team.
Cannot thank Eden View enough, for the comfort and at ease of time they gave me, and my family.

My mum was discharged from the hospital under the care of Eden View. They have accommodated visits to suit her needs. Addressed her health requirements and basically prevented her from going into a nursing home. At 97 years old both my parents are supported appropriately by professional caring staff
at home. Thank you.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the care and support that they gave us for our ill mam and family, they came in 4 hours a day to support and care for her and to get us all through our day we all had a laugh with them, we did our very best with mam with the help we had with the carers, my mam loved
them all so thanks again for all their help and support that we got from them, thanks from the family.

My husband came home from hospital on end-of-life care. Unfortunately, it was only just over a day before he passed.
Two staff members in particular treated him with compassion, respect, great communication and dignity.
The whole experience from the assessment to the last call was very professional.
